Anyone go to a show last weekend?

I'm going in a few weeks. Looks pretty rad. I don't love U2, but I like em enough.

I'm sure future residencies will be a must-see.

The Sphere is the 8th wonder of the world. Unbelievable. Concerts will never be the same. Stunning visuals you can see from videos, but the sound is also impeccable.

That was for the quarter ending September 30. The first event there was September 29. So I wouldn't read too much into that. The Sphere isn't going anywhere. But I do wonder if they will do more movies and fewer concerts. They gave U2 a ton of the sales.

Exactly, it was always going to bleed money until fully booked and broken in. Live entertainment continues to come back after the pandemic, book a few Swift / Beyonce concerts to go with other headline acts and they will be just fine, keep in mind this is the MSG group, not their first rodeo.

Worse case scenario they turn it into a contained landfill for all the losing bet slips the in-person bettors create each week, the "sure wins".

Profitable already. Just scratching the surface, I think. Will make a lot of money on outside advertising. Seems like they might doing more shorter runs for music acts.
