#2I have total confidence it will be the worst sportsbook in America.Comment -

#4Same boat for me. Luckily it seems like they have less and less relevant sports events i watch. Announcers have gone down the drain as well.Comment -

#6I won't give a red cent to ESPN/Disney.Comment -
#7Just a thought about a TV sports network having a sports Betting website. All the TV games on their network with a point spread offer lines at 5 cents....Comment -

#9Some people frame their entire world view around their perception of political opinions, and their tribes side.
Let them cut off their noses to spite their own faces. Who cares what the politically angry types think anyway. As soon as you know they form their views that way, don't you just discount their opinion as nonsense anyway? Karens be Karens sadly :-\.Comment -

Not supporting things that don't align with your morals, beliefs etc is not that difficult of a concept to grasp.Comment -

Also, if the motivation was about "support" or not, then some proportion of your comments would also be starting out with "XYZ company supports this good cause/POV so I want to support them". Not always stating just the negative angles..Comment -

There are countless other options.
I'm enjoying watching them fail and circle down the drain.Last edited by JAKEPEAVY21; 08-10-23, 01:38 PM.Comment -
#16"not supporting things" is quite different than looking at every issue through the lens of "do I disagree with this entities opinions" and calling for a cancellation if you don't.

The USWNT made their bed, now they have to lay in it.Comment -
#17I don't shy away from ESPN due to their political points of view.
I'm all about content, and their content as Colin Cowherd yesterday said is 'wobbly'.
Bad business decisions have forced ESPN to let go of virtually all of the talent they once had.
Their Sportscenter is a clown show, it's unwatchable.
I'll watch most of the sports events they televise, a lot of their 30 for 30 shows I'll still watch, but that's about it.
What makes ESPN, who's taking over (for lack of a better term) a sports book (Barstool) that wasn't rated that highly to begin with, I'll do business with them.
Cowherd is right, they are a wobbly outfit, and this comes from one of the highest rated radio host they ever had.Comment -
#18if its Barstool, already limited there. Wouldn't have expected to last long at ESPNbet either.Comment -
#19when will CA. allow us to Bet???????????????????????????????Comment -
#20Hopefully it’s complete overhaul by Penn. Barstool is one of the worst books for promotions, they’ll have to change that if the want to compete with FD and DK.Comment -

#22Maybe. Might as well try again. I'm done at the KAMBI books, Pointsbet,BETMGM and Tipico. Leaving me with DK, FD, Caesars, BET365 and Prophet Exchange. I
Looks like limited to a max to win of 625 on MLB sides, ~200 or so on MLB totals.Comment -
#23CZR is pretty much the only book I can really bet reasonably at. Even FD knocked me down to 1%. Sad. Limits a bit higher at new Barstool so I recently dipped my toe back.Comment -

Fanduel and Draftkings are ok as well. Down at both, so good thus far.
Will likely post up at Prophet Exchange, despite low limits.
Getting rough. Even offshore is impossible for me at this point.Comment -
#25Caesars is pretty good. I'm disappointed they downgraded the loyalty program, but oh well. I enjoyed the free trip to Atlantis.

Down at Fanduel and Draftkings??? How is that even possible? lolComment -

Take the trip to Atlantis. Good to get away sometimes.Comment -

But now I looked and I guess Diamond Elite can also get the 5-night stay.
Atlantis was nice? The Royal or Cove? Tips?Comment -

It's pretty relaxed. I prefer royal. Royal is more central, depending on the building, it's either in or close by the Casino. It is closer to the central part of the water park. Cove is more upscale, with quieter pools without kids. They have gaming tables by pools in Cove.
Nobu was extremely expensive and over rated. The steakhouse is ok, but priced comparable to steaks in NYC, but lower quality. The Chinese place is probably the best restaurant there.
They give you slot play at the casino. You have to get an atlantis card to use it.Comment -
#29Look no further than Fox Bet? If they use the same bs sites it's all the same. LOL Barstool is nothing but the name it was a Kambi book for yrs maybe why the change? Site still sux but if u put the Espn name and marketing behind it u never knowComment -
#30I hate to say this but Legal Sports Betting has ruined the fun of this. Im 49Comment -

#34No. You have to pay for food and drinks.
I don't drink alcohol.
I wouldn't go if I had to pay for rooms. Food and rooms added up to about 1750 for a week with the caesars deal. Comparably with staying at an all inclusive resort, it was a good deal. Combined with craps winnings and other casino play, it was.net zero, a good deal.Comment
