Books and the Geo-Locator on desktop computer
I know from time to time, all the books will have a glitch where it's unable to detect my location. But usually 1 refresh of the screen and it's fixed. That is EXCEPT for FanDuel. I have no idea what's wrong, but every day, it takes 4 or 5 log in and log out for their sytem to Verify my location. Does anyone happen to have the same issue?

If you email them with your IP they can white list you.

If you have a fixed IP address from your ISP.

I guess it's a fixed address. I've seen it a few times but can't recall how to bring it up.. Excellant idea.

Ok Thanks..I have it written down. Will try telling Nelson (I think his first name is in chat next time I go in.) He told me me that their system is "Very Sensitive" Just to keep trying a few weeks ago. It was actually better after the chat, but that didn't last long.

if they whitelist you, do you still have to use the geo locator? i don't have any issues using it, but i prefer to have everything off. so whenever i decide to actually wager, i have to manually start the locator and my wireless adapter.

Good question. I haven't asked them about whitelisting yet. Actually this morning got in with ZERO refreshes. Maybe it has something to do with the time of day. Pretty rare

When a device is assigned a static IP address, the address does not change. Most devices use dynamic IP addresses, which are assigned by the network when they connect and change over time.
