It says I'm using a data center connection (aka a VPN) and they don't allow it.

Is there a way or a service for me to buy a proper UK connection? I have a UK bank account, residency, even filing taxes there so I have no problem to "prove my address" in the UK, my question is if I can somehow get a proper UK service for a few $ a month to have a genuine UK ISP so William Hill won't show me this error message, is it possible?

I found a solution on Reddit, you need to connect to a Residential VPN, that means you're connecting to someone else's Internet connection - for example MysteriumVPN is offering that service - then I am getting a genuine IP as if I'm really in the UK right now:

For instance my IP right now is 90.255.186.133 and if you check it here:

You would see I am connected via Vodafone, which is a genuine British ISP and I'm located in Warboys which is not far from Cambridge.

Accordingly, I can use William Hill with no restrictions, I've just tried to deposit £100 and risk it to win £0.50 and made a withdrawal for £100.50, the money is already in the bank (yay, going to be able to retire now with £0.50 extra lolol).

I think on this basis you guys in the US can get a mail forwarding address or something like that in Nevada or any other legal state like NJ and then bet from the comfort of your home, but I'm not sure how strict these sites are i.e. are they asking for more than just a proof of address....

I mean you can always change the address of one of your bank accounts to Nevada's mail forwarding (I'm in Texas so I'd just get it forwarded here) and then use the bank statement as a proof of address?

I mean I'm not sure how crucial that is, I mean the alternative would be to use an offshore provider and then once you win $45k you won't get it paid and won't have anything to do about it.

      Hmmmmm.....

Best option would be to leave the PC at home ON and install TeamViewer or so and connect remotely to your home PC, that way you can use as if you were at home and there will be no issues with potential situation where WH would notice you are using VPN which can lead to problems down the line.

It's too much hassle and all it takes is one time for the electricity to go off and you would lose that connection.
I don't think they really care about your IP too much, the withdrawals are issued instantly.

I've just tried to withdraw £730 and it came to my account instantly, no problems with that.
I'm currently up £2,061.69 with them (net profit, deposits - withdrawals) so they have limited me in some markets, but it's still worth it because deposits/withdrawals are issued instantly and there are great bets to place, 0 fees.

I can even watch the races, their live TV but too bad they don't offer streaming like Bet365/Stake...

You can setup in BIOS that PC powers on again when there is an electricity "glitch". You wouldn't believe how much bookies look at IPs... heck, b365 implemented that you need to use THEIR mobile authenticator in order to confirm location.

I'm sure they do but if you are not going to bet 4-5 digits they don't care.
I can't bet 4-5 digits with them so I'm not worried about it.

But yes, you're right, if you are a serious gambler/trader, risking I don't know £10,000 to win £200 because for you it's a 10000% a sure thing (no such thing exists in gambling btw) then yes, you might wanna use a proper IP, otherwise they would ask you lots of questions or would do their best to not pay you.
