    Bookmaker's Final Straw
I witnessed the official scorekeeper make a obvious error in scoring the game. At the 10 second mark in the video, Krzysztof clearly returns the ball into his own net. the left side of his table briefly displays a red graphic flash and the word "NET" appears simultaneously however, the ball gets played on and Czerwinski loses the critical point and eventually lost the game.

I came to chat support Immediately after witnessing the error in scorekeeping (before the match finished) and was asked for proof. I showed support agent "Ray" the video and he even ACKNOWLEDGED that the error occured but refused to refund the wager then subsequently provided an irrelevant copy and paste response about live odds. I am down $10,000 lifetime here but will be cutting ties after this. If this was Bovada, or any book with any amount of dignity and integrity, not just my wager, but ALL WAGERS would be voided due to this error. Let me be the example/victim to show that Bookmaker will just take your money and run for the hills with no real respect to fair play.

The book will normally always settle bets based on the official result, which in this case has Wloczko as the winner as well:

So if you think this is incorrect, you'd probably need to argue with the organizers to overturn the result, so that Bookmaker can follow.

Personally I'd tend to say it's only the automated graphic (NET) which is erroneous, though, not the scoring?!

So you are complaining that a sports book graded a wager based on the official result?

As the two posters have said above, and I can confirm, the official result is what books must grade on.

If an egregious scoring error has occurred many books will show goodwill if they choose to.

But they do not have to.

If you think the score is wrong, approach the official body and ask them to correct it, then go back to Bookmaker to have it fixed.

is there any scoring error at all, though? I am not too familiar with table tennis rules, or potential varying interpretations in different competitions, but I would have assumed that it's normal that the match continues when the ball comes down on the other side after hitting the net?

Every book I have used will use the official result, you can check multiple sources for an official score but you are simply wrong here.

if you are down 10K, betting on ping pong, pointing out a call early in the match, making a video of it, complaining to the book, pretending other books will simply disregard the official result of the game, and then making a thread about it ... there might be bigger issues in play.

What did you expect to get from making this thread? Did you think other sports bettors will agree that BM or any other sports book should grade wagers on what they think should have happened rather what the official results? Wouldn't that be a nightmare huh? Ya that winning TD last week clearly showed the player had a toe still on the field as he was running off when the QB received the snap on the first series of the game. It should have been too many men of the field and my bet should have been a winner.

They have to grade on what the official result is. It should be Bookmaker's last straw with you after giving them shit about this.

You need to get off the "ice" bro. Or, are you taking the official Pervitin that the Nazis gave out? Whatever it is, put the ice away for at least a few hours before thinking about busting the books balls about something pal. You can't be under the influence.
