Also the quads are lowered automatically by betonline as pot gets bigger. Every bad beat jackpot winner in the history of bad beat jackpots has won with qualifying quads lower than Jacks.With much smaller pots and shorter period of time in between wins .I feel like this site will be shut down for good sooner or later .I have scene all over the internet threw the years stories like mine .It is like they do not care who they steal money from or when they do it .I think not only me but a lot of people some with authority to shut down this site if they get enough people fed up with this sites bullshit !!They want people to think they are a safe and honest site to gamble at but are nothing but a scam !!!!Most people are not aware of this because they do not win a big jackpot like I did .I have heard many poker player complaining about bots also this is a fact !! I just wanted to post that some people think that I have not tried to get winnings

Right after this happened I tried to get this site to help me ?I think this site did try to help me but Betonline refused to pay .I tried for 2 solid years after this happened and they would not pay me .I then gave up for a couple yearsnuntil another player told me that betonline did pay winner of hand. After I won this money but was not paid the money in jackpot vanished and never was put back so I figured someone got paid ?I am not rich in fact I live paycheck to paycheck !!So I could not just pay a lawyer right after this happened and did not know about sites like two plus two .Also the Nevada gaming commission is helping me but Betonline will not return emails and when they call they are not able to talk to anyone in management or that can take steps to help me get my money .There is a couple more new sites helping me but I am not sure if anyone is going to be able to get my bad beat jackpot winnings if betonline keeps hiding .They congratulated me for winning bad beat jackpot when this first happened then said the card was not lowered from Jack's when everyone that plays there knows that it was that day and more than once the pot was at 890,000.I do not think anyone can understand the stress this puts on me or anyone else just knowing for a fact that I won bad beat jackpot and can not get paid ?Because this site that advertised to everyone that they are safe and honest are really just the opposite!!Thanks

What you're saying could be correct.
But they post all of their bad beat jackpot winners. I don't see how you would be entitled to $890,000 as the jackpot was a lot lower than that one month after the date you've given. It's not exactly easy to understand your large paragraphs of rambling though.

The person won 20% of $738,275.25 BBJ on July 23rd 2019 which was $147,655.05. So at the very least the $890,000 figure you are saying is incorrect.

What pisses me off is that these sportsbook have the intentions to make money on us by us fronting all deposits we make. While we’re playing we are hoping for the fact if we run a high balance we should not worry to get paid that should be the least of are problems becuz it’s so hard to win. To not payout is just not right man also why do they say these penetrating jackpots are there if they don’t penetrating pay them out so people to keep playing and lose with intentions of never paying out great business to run. If they stiff you then people keep playing there’s millions of people around the world not reading youre story

@OP, SBR does not usually get involved in poker disputes as we do not have the expertise in that area to mediate these sort of disputes. Have you ever tried contacting their main rep Dave Mason directly to ask him to have a look over this?

Wish I had my 5 minutes back. Tournaments never qualify for the bad beat jackpot. They don't pay in, so why would they get a % of it?

Guessing he means his last 240 chips and not $240. But in this thread he didn't mention tournament and the last one he did. Seems like OP is just trying to make something out of nothing.

with "tournament" he is referring to the bad beat jackpot, I think, not the type of table he played on.

So what OP seems to say (in his original post - in the new one, the numbers are different) is:

- he was playing on an eligible table, and lost a hand with 4x10
- the BBJ pot was $633.000, and at the time Betonline had lowered the requirements from 4xJ to 4x10
- after his hand, the BBJ was resetted, but not paid out to him

I guess it's not impossible that this happened due to a technical glitch, which wasn't detected as OP & support struggled to communicate each other. But how to find out five years later... no idea.

The original post in from June 25th 2019, btw, so I guess it must have happened somewhere around that time.

On June 26th, Betonline sent out a press release,which said

"The Bad Beat Jackpot at BetOnline Poker has been climbing and will soon hit a whopping $700,000 if nobody loses with quad jacks or better soon. [...] BBJ players should keep in mind that the qualifying hand changes as the jackpot rises. BetOnline Poker actually lowers the qualifying hand, increasing the odds of a BBJ hit! The current qualifying hand is four jacks, which is prominently displayed on the poker software banners at BetOnline Poker. It’s a good idea to periodically check those banners to be aware of the updated BBJ requirements, if any."

Give it up Dale. You said you were playing a tournament. There is no BBJ in tournaments. You never won. All 500 people on this forum and all the other poker forums are not all paid by BetOnline.
