I live in Japan, and on May 1 Betway left the country. Before they did they sent an Email explaining that they would refund pending bets. I chatted with customer service and talked multiple times with Tom, who confirmed that they would definitely refund all outstanding bets. Come May 1 I was unable to log in to the site anymore, and my over 100,000 yen ($600, but the amount is not the point) in outstanding futures (including ones on Rudy Gobert for defensive player of the year and the Minnesota Timberwolves long term) were never refunded and when I sent Emails to them to ask about them the Emails were never answered. I have writen off the money at this point, but I wanted others to know what happened with them.
