You claimed you have 10k/year income. They ask for proof. You cannot deliver the proof. You scream they are scammers?

Not much for you to complain about though. If they do follow responsible gambling guidelines, they are not supposed to serve an unemployed person on 10k per year without imposing something like $2 limits on you.

Stop talking nonsense and reread carefully what I wrote.. I claimed that I have less than 10,000 income.. This could be either 9000 or 900 or 90 euros.. At 18bet they want to see a document with 10,000 anyway.... And at least 18bet it is not the police or the tax office asking me what income I have. My obligation was to send identification documents. I sent them, it was my identity, 2 bank statements and a screen from Neteller... I identified my identity, my address and the deposit method, Anything else they ask me is simply abuse.

You're probably right in the case of 18bet.

But all bookmakers are supposed to ensure they do not serve people who cannot afford to gamble under their license terms. And that really does involve asking us for proof of income and the source of any funds sometimes.

We all agree that is too much info to expect us to give a bookmaker, but you should keep that it in mind if one asks how much you earn and where it comes from in the future.

What guidelines should they follow? Let's not kid ourselves. They don't put a 2 euro limit on players with low incomes. They don't care about that. They only put a 2 euro limit on those who win, whether they have a low income or a high one. I know many people in my country who have a low income but their bet365 account has 3 times higher betting limits than normal. This happens because they lose.

I did not say they do that. I meant that under the guidelines for responsible gambling, that they have agreed to follow under their license, they SHOULD do that if you have told them you are as poor as you have said to them you are.

I'm not trying to argue with you, I was trying to help you understand enough to not put yourself in this situation at another bookmaker if ever asked about your income again.
