ya does anyone have any other information on this? Why did this occur, the article loosely links platinumSB to 'organized crime', but doesn't concretely describe why they were shut down? What is Canada's regular policy towards sportsbooks operating within/based out of their country?
These guys had been running a super bowl party for at least 10+ years in the Toronto area and never really did much to hide the fact that they were doing it. 2300 people at the party this year when the bust came. 90% of the guys i know who had a local were going through Platinum, it was big business around these parts.
They just cloned pinnacle lines and have a monopoly on the market place. Not to mention I would not want to be in the position of having to collect a large sum from them.

Most books clone Pinnacle Johnny. So you have a problem with a bunch of guys that take action and pay players? lol
Ya, they were a Pinny clone. Being new in TO I never had a chance to get an account, but I logged into the site's guest account on a semi-regular basis. Pinny offers a service that basically feeds their lines into your website. I imagine these guys were subscribers...
No, most books do not clone pinny to the cent. I am talking exact clone. Maybe you should look at the lines posted by this site before commenting.
Pay players...maybe.
Again, most books in Costa Rica and Panama move off of Pinny lines (including live events). And, so they cloned Pinny lines...why the f#$k would you or any punter take issue with that? They book action why would you care they cornered the market in Toronto? I just question your logic in your post. Not saying PSB didn't clone lines, just saying why is that a problem...lol

Lol yes, there should not be any complaining about 10 cent lines.

And "moving off of pinny lines' is not the same as cloning pinn lines you thick headed dunce.
At least you got that right, not that it matters much. Dissing an outfit for being successful and cloning Pinny lines is still strange. Good luck to you and all your betting wisdom.

If I wanted to bet into pinny lines I would bet into pinnaclesports.com and not take on the risk of gambling with those shady guys.
