At Bovada, I made a live soccer bet below:
Single (Outcome: Canceled)
Soccer - Paulista - Goal Spread
Santos vs Novorizontino
Santos - L1H 0.5 (EVEN)
Outcome: Void
The game score was 0-1 (Santos down by 1 goal) when I placed the wager. Santos scores on a penalty in the 36th minute of the 1st half and the half time scoreline ends 1-1 but I notice that Bovada has voided the bet. When I call to inquire about it they stated the wager was graded correctly. After they got their sportsbook department engaged and after waiting for over an hour they came back and said it was graded correctly and that Santos needed to win the first half in order for it to be considered a win. I explained to them that would only be the case if it was -0.5 which the person I spoke to didn't seem to understand. When I told them no book in the world would consider this a voided bet, they told me that it was supposed to read -0.5 (-110) at the time of the wager and seemed to just try to make it out to be a software platform issue. I told them that no way would a live betting site have -0.5 at that price given the time I placed the wager. They said it doesn't matter what time you placed your bet and I tried to tell them that these are dynamic lines and any -0.5 for Santos at the time of the bet would have been like +350. They still didn't correctly grade the wager but offered me a $50 bonus credit in return.
This is a black eye for me at Bovada and they continue to have issues grading bets properly. This is like the 4th or 5th time I've had to call to correct an improperly graded bet. Their live site software platform also seems unstable at best.
Does anyone else have issues with this site and them grading bets improperly and / or issues with live wagering here?
