Is it possible to sue 1xBet for their scam?

I opened the account at 1xBet and that was a first mistake. I thought odds are good and honestly did not read reviews about them online but a friend recommended them. I deposited twice, first time around 150 and later around 500 euros and I was playing, won couple of times and at the end my balance was 2590 euros. I tried withdrawing maybe 500 euros and then games begun. They asked to upload passport, when I did that they still did not verify my account. When I contacted them maybe 10th time, they asked to send passport via mail. After that they asked to send print screens of my Skrill wallet, 5 or six print sreeens, also the proofs of my deposits to 1xBet. When I called to say that this is very strange, that they are asking me to send photos of my Skrill wallet because there are my personal data, they were very rude and said I can only talk with Security department via mail, there is no one who can help me by phone. At the end, I decided to send photos of my Skrill because I have nothing to hide and I played and won fair and square and I really need my money, they asked me to send PHOTO OF ME HOLDING PASSPORT AND IN THE BACK SHOULD BE E MAILS WITH THEM. This was so humiliating, why do they have to see e mails in the back, it took me 20 minutes to take this kind of photo but I did it. In the end, they said that I should go to my profile and follow my verification proces there. And now the craziest part starts. I went to login, like 3 minutes after receiving that mail, and system did not allow me to do so, it said my account is restricted. I called, they said I can login. I tried again, nope. They said to clear cookies and catch, I did it and still could not and still I am not able to do it, even though they say I can. I wrote very angry mail to Account security and still no answer. I have been using many bookies but this is the far worst situation I was ever in. I gave them all of the documents, I played fair and they are now playing some kind of sadistic game with me. On the private note, I am pregnant and this situation is really stressing me out and I was wondering, is it possible that this is legal and I can not do anything about it? I know that it is my fault that I did not read the reviews, but now I can not turn back time, I just want my money. Guys, be aware and thanks in advance to all of those who could help me with some kind of advice.
P.S. Sorry for some grammar mistakes, I am not native speaker.

I do not know of an effective way to sue them but you are welcome to submit a sportsbook complaint form and SBR can reach out to them about your problem.

Be aware that this wont change them making all the unreasonable requests but we might be able to help sort out the login issue. Heard that one before and how they just keep saying 'oh yes, go log in for instructions'. Difficult to know for sure if they just don't read messages, can't read, are maybe staffed by morons or most likely, just enjoy treating people badly.

Also be aware that as a female you are pretty much always going to be under extra scrutiny from books. If you are actually really a male using a female ID for a second account, I'd suggest forgetting fighting and just move on now and save your time.

As I know, I am just a female, maybe with high testosterone level but that is it
I will definitely file a complaint, thanks for your advice but after reading all reviews, I was wondering why people do not join and sue their ass, because all of these things could not be protected by their terms and conditions. For example, they told me now like 6 times that I can go to my account and login and I can not do that. People sue Burger companies for finding a hair and we can not sue bookie for steeling money earned, I did not win it on lottery, I earned it with my knowledge that I invested in for the past 15 years following sports. Crazy.

So, update is that I can login now, but I see only page that is titled: Blocking appeal where I should write my claim and give them consent to share my personal information with third parties (?!) Did anyone had this situation?

Yes, this is the same for everyone.

There should be a link you can click somewhere to get the info.

You will be asked to fill out a series of questions next.

The thing that is very worrisome is that they ask me to Check box with this statement: I accept the right of 1xBet to contact law enforcement agencies in the event any breach of Russian legislation on my part is revealed.
I read all the horror that other people went trough and I did not read that anyone got their money. If I sign this, this means that they can make me go to Russia for example, or sue me, only in order for me to give up because they know how expensive is to go their and go into that. I think I will not continue playing their game, I will instantly find Russian help and find some good lawyer because this thing could not be legal and they can not force me to sign something and not give me any answers on why they did not accept my documents and why do they want more. Because of that I wanted to see did anyone ever sued them.

Are you in Russia? Have you done anything wrong? If the answer to those is No, then why do you care what they report or not?

But more importantly that is quite a stupid threat. As the main reason it is difficult to sue them in Russia is that it is illegal to operate an online betting site there. When they want postal mail sent they insist you do not mention their company name on the letter or it may not be delivered.

If anyone should be concerned even slightly about being reported to Russian authorities it should be them worried about a user with the right connections reporting THEM.

Anyway, if you want to make a legal fight, good luck and please let us know how it goes for future people asking this question.

So, because they are running business that is not legit, you have to sue them in Curacao, is that correct?

    I'm not sure tamariki.

Many have said this before and no one has come up with an answer as to how to effectively do it that I am aware of.

Where do you have that information from?

I just read this article: https://calvinayre.com/2017/07/21/bu...-betting-site/

Quote: "Of the betting sites currently authorized to operate in Russia, a Betting Business Russia analysis of Similar Web data showed 1xstavka.ru (1Xbet) the clear traffic winner, (...)"

Are you sure that 1xbet doesn't hold a license in Russia?

They are licensed under another name to operate only within Russia. Part of the regs there is that players must present ID in person. The 1xbet online business is not sanctioned in Russia.

    @ Optional,
I am sure that you already filed 10ths of complaints against 1xbet.
Did any of these complaints had a happy ending with customer getting his or her money back?
    Thank you.

Some. But not many people have got more than their deposit back after all the KYC.

Because unfortunately people still keep giving them money. Just like we've seen over and over with other books through the years.

A chunk of our community knows they're shithouse but even some here don't know. Then think of those who have never heard of SBR before and are pure bonus whores who chase any free penny. They wack those people too and grab their initial deposit cash.

I feel very little pity for anyone who doesn't know how to Google before sending money to a dodgy book

im not disagreeing with what you are saying, but there is also word of mouth, they have scammed so many people that new signups should be decreasing exponentially

is it possible that gamblers are so secretive about their vice that word never gets out?

As an attorney if you're suing an online gambling site you could sue them in a court where you live if you showed that the company did a lot of business in that area you are in and they marketed or solicited business in that area. You absolutely do not need to go to Curacao to sue a company in Curacao or every company doing business in the United States would simply locate the company's legal headquarters in a country that is difficult for litigants. The problem is that although I know nothing about your situation, if you are using this company's site illegally you obviously can't sue in the jurisdiction your are in - the reason US citizens can't sue offshore gambling sites is that even though US federal court would be the proper jurisdiction for suing sites that do a significant amount of business in the US and market/solicit here, is because sports wagering is illegal outside of nevada with the exception of horse racing in some local jurisdictions. Curacao may also be part of treaties that open them up to international law and you could try to file a complaint with the Curacao agency that licenses them - but those are obviously also likely dead ends.

since some get paid and it's easy money because 1xbet ist the dumbest sportsbook on the planet

some are ignoring the issues, some do not even have issues and some are gambling whether they get paid or not

but @all who get paid: you should be aware that the only reason you get paid is that others customers' funds have been confiscated before so it's like a deal with the devil. you just shouldn't play there.

In the future play only A+ rated books.

Unfortunately your money is probably gone.
