Hey guys, I just made a SBR account just so I could get my story out there about how my Betonline account went through a serious issue a couple days ago.
For some background, I deposited $25 etherum a month ago and worked it up to $350 only using the Sportsbook.
So at the end of Thursday, August 9th, I had $281 in my account before I placed an e-sport wager at 2:32am on August 10th. This was a winning bet. I logged back into my account around 7:30am to see my account had risen to $309. I placed another e-sport wager at 7:45am. This bet later won and I went to sleep. I woke back up around 10am expecting to see $329 and to my disbelief there was only $29 in my available balance. This obviously made 0 sense to me. I quickly checked my pending wagers and graded wagers but there was nothing out of the ordinary there. I quickly call player services to see what happened.
I was 2 minutes into my call with support and was on the betonline desktop site (which any user knows is a pain to stay signed in) when my account dropped from $29 to $4.94 in real time. So to clarify, I was on the phone explaining my missing $300 situation when another $24 just vanished.
Now I start to believe something is very fishy and something is going on with my account. Something has been compromised or hacked. The lady in player services was nice and understanding about the situation. Further into the call I made my way into the all transactions page. Here is what confirmed my suspicion. On Thursday, August 9th, there was a transaction made labeled as “Transfer to Poker” for $300 debit. There was also a transaction labeled as “Casino Win” also on Thursday for a $300 credit. This was clearly not my doing and the lady on the phone realized this. Keep in mind, I physically saw $281 at 2:32am and $309 at 7:30am on Friday.
So I have 2 issues here, how did someone go back in time on Thursday and drain my account of $300 I never had on Thursday and if were following the correct time of my wagers how does my account only have $4.94 when my last two bets on Friday we’re winning bets of $25 and $21 dollars. None of this adds up and the $300 transfer doesn’t even make sense relative to my betting history and the fact I’ve never touched the casino or poker sections.
I was on the phone for 30 minutes and the lady said she was going to expedite my case and I should hear back in 24-48 hours. It’s been over 24 hours as I make this post. I also sent a follow up email basically explaining how things transpired for me Friday morning. I know things like this take time but this is inexcusable and I’ve procided ample of information and verification to them so they can see this transfer of money was clearly not my doing.
If I hear anything in the coming hours I’ll be sure to update this thread but for now I’m curious as to what else I can do or what SBR can do about this. I know you guys have a big reputation amongst the Sportsbook. Between this issue, an incorrect wager grading and the constant issues I have signing into their browser I am not using them anymore and will be transferring my funds (if restored) to another Sportsbook.
