#37Thanks for the thread Lou...very much needed and appreciated! The head honcho's over there at WagerHub are thieves!Comment -
#38I have spoken with Jim and he states that since an "agreement" was made with Gia from WagerHub, then the agreement should be upheld. In my opinion, when a sportsbook continues to try and find reasons to not pay you and stall payment just so they can offer a settlement, that is THEFT and BLACKMAIL! It is obvious that after WagerHub withheld my winnings for 2 months that I made the decision to accept what Gia offered under duress and just as Lou stated, I was thinking my options were either accept 80% of my balance at the time or receive 0.Comment -
#39The agreement is bogus.
Funds were deposited and cleared. A bonus was accepted and rolled over fully. 100% of funds belong to the player. Stating that an agreement should be upheld whereby a player receives anything less than 100% of winnings is ludicrous. This isn't a kangaroo court.
Unfortunately, this is exactly why WagerHub is a D- rated sportsbook.Comment -
#40Any agreement where one of the parties in under duress is not binding. They were holding your money hostage and you agreed to accept something less. Perfectly understandable and by no means let's WH off the hook for rest of the $$$.Comment -
#41I agree 100%. Gia is just playing naive and claims that the agreement is binding! This book is bogus, do not ever deposit with them!Comment -
#42I bet they are wishing they wouldnt have paid anything now. This book is a joke and I hope they go out of business quick. Why wouldnt they go ahead and pay the remaining $1,900. They paid 80% of it and by not paying the final $1,900, will cost them thousands in deposits and new customers. They will eventually steal more money from clients as time goes by.Comment -
#43paying the remaining amount won't improve their reputation anymoreComment -

#46It's not for asskissers like you HH. It's for those who's money was stolen as a result of the advertising (the example of which was quickly diverted into its own thread).Comment -
#47All I'm asking is for my $1,400 they owe me is all...still can't believe they're still in businesssbrComment -

Perhaps the dumbest thing you said is that WH has no blame in this whatsoever! So I'll end where I started....Fuk you.
PS Thread is about WH stealing $1900, not SBR promotions. Try to stay on topic.Last edited by HedgeHog; 04-22-10, 05:04 PM.Comment -
#49Your lack of maturity shines through loud and clear, HH. But if you looked at the post above your's you would, perhaps, begin to understand my point.Comment -
#50Almost as much as your one-track mind. SBR is not responsible for anyone's decision to send $$$$ to crap books. Get it?Comment -
#51If that is SBR's position in the particular case of WH, I would like to see Bill Dozer confirm it.
You have a problem with that?
You see, I have a high opinion of SBR. So I want to know what they do when they drop a ball. You can jump up and down about that all you want, but that won't change a thing.Comment -
#52I'd like you to confirm that WH is totally blameless and SBR is 100% at fault as indicated in a previous idiotic post.Comment -
#53Your attempt to put words into my mouth is pointless. Read in my words all you want.
The point is this: SBR benefits from sportsbook ads. Big time. They chose their books carefully. Consequently, players come to trust SBR. So far, all is good and well. SBR certainly has no problem with players signing up at those books. But... a start-up 'book' was able to advertise in players talk. And it was allowed! Now the relationship of trust between players and SBR carried over... For the record, the 'book' was not rated at this point, so my -not yours- suggestion that this was a crap book was at the time not clear to many. On the contrary. By and large the book was being trusted.
The same trust that benefits SBR in other cases, now worked against it. An interesting dilemma. What happens next? Does SBR wash its hands? Or does it claim some measure of responsibility?Last edited by Dark Horse; 04-22-10, 05:50 PM.Comment -
#54It was never a book. Just a shoe string operation that used SBR forum to get clientele. Really, it's the degradation of 'players talk' and SBR's unwillingess to moderate coming full circle. This is what happens when stupidity rules. If wish Dozer and Justin would take a look at this, and see how this could unfold. There is no reason to blame WH. They're crooks. Why act so surprised? If you open your door to crooks they'll take you for a ride. So guard the f*cking door.Comment -
#55Yes, there is no reason to blame WH for being crooks, because crooks do what crooks are supposed to do.
Difficult for you, hey?Comment -

PS Congrats on hijacking this thread again.Last edited by HedgeHog; 04-22-10, 06:01 PM.Comment -
#57I'm politely responding to you. In spite of your repeated insults. Anyway, this is not hijacking. Because it is totally relevant. I actually think that SBR should refund the players in question. And then SBR can fight it out with WH to pay the money back. If you benefit from sportsbook ads, based on a relationship of trust, you can't have it both ways. This is the flip side of the coin.Comment -

#59Finally, you say something accurate. WH was never a paid sponsor... Which is precisely where their ads here shouldn't have been allowed. Thank you for at last getting it.
Gotta go now. As to asskisser, that's not an insult. That's a fact.Comment -

#65I gotta tell you guys I have finally seen the light about this book. I like Chuck and Tom alot but I am scared of this book really bad even though they have always came through for me. I know its only a matter of time before it comes down to my payout or somebodys paycheck and I get the shaft.Comment -
#66Finally BTH! I knew you would come to see the light at some point!Comment -
#67They always paid me but something just doesnt feel right and that usually means bad things are on the horizon.Comment -

#70Have you submit an SBR sportsbook complaint form?
Justin has all the details of my situation and it's all documented in the "Wagerhub" threads. To their credit, they did pay me $300 for my first withdrawal...but then they threw me out because I won too much. They owed me $2,349...of which they paid me $949...but since then, they've refused to pay me my remaining $1,400.
Anyway you can possibly help to recover my funds would be greatly appreciated.sbrComment
