Bet365 locking up my account and refusing to pay 30k CAD

In the past month I deposited a total of 16k using a variety of deposit methods, mainly paysafecards, my debit card, and my credit card, and ended up with a total of 30k. (14k net gain) When I tried to withdraw, they froze my account and asked me to submit the documents that can prove that I'm the owner of the cards(debit / credit). In the past, I was mainly using paysafecard / prepaid card to deposit, so stuff like that never happened. However I provided all the documents they asked last Tuesday, and they told me it would take 24-48 hours to complete the verification process. When I asked them about it on Saturday, they said it's still under review. What's going on? Is bet365 fking with me?

Never care about how the money comes in....yet the minute you want to withdraw they want a ton of verification.

Gotta love online gambling.

I actually never had problems with bet365 before. I made multiple deposits and withdraws in the past, no question asked.

As long as you have the receipts for the pre-paid cards you should be fine.

It could be as simple as using different deposit methods may have set off flags to do Source of Funds checks on you.

They are asking for my personal debit / credit card.
I sent them a picture of my CC with my name on it.
For the debit it doesn't have my name on it since it's a bank card, I provided them with bank statement and other proofs.
The thing is that it's been almost a week and they are not giving me any replies.

That's not a great sign but it is very normal for them to take 1-2 weeks with account reviews, so I would not panic yet.

If they do come back to you saying whatever you have sent is not enough, make sure that you do not say that is all I can get, or sound like you are refusing at all. Always sound like you are willing to keep trying until they are satisfied.

And if they are ignoring you, I would try to stop yourself from continually emailing. It cannot help at all to hurry them up. All it can do is raise their suspicions about why you could be worried.

They told me it would take 24-48 hours and it's taking longer than that. but yeah i just wanna make sure this happens to others as well, and they wouldn't just lock up your account and winnings for no reason.

In May this year the UK Gambling Commission ordered their books to increase Source of Wealth (SoW) and Source of Funds (SoF) checks.

They have been doing this sort of thing to people inside and outside the UK a lot.

If they said 24-48 hours, I'd guess they were only planning routine checks though. As a positive.

So what do you think I should do. Just wait ? It's been almost a week.

I think I would wait until Monday, as they have a lot less administration staff on duty weekends. And then just email and ask if the account review is complete yet.

But realistically you will just have to wait for them, as frustrating as that is. And react then if it is a bad decision.

I depsoit through paysafecard at bet365 all the time. I get them from a local general store in town. Though i have not ran my account balance up over 2k i should still continue to save my paysafecard receipts?!?!?

I would feel safer if I had them.

But I have not actually come across an issue specifically involving paysafe brand prepaid cards before. So my guess about that being part of the reason and needing receipts might be wrong still.

Last years Bet 365 is tough when they have to pay. They don't like paying. They hate smart bettors also. They can't believe some one is cleverer than them.
And by the way, 30000 CAD are 20400 euros.

[Bet365] Timeframe for cards ownership verification ?

As I previously posted, bet365 asked me to provide documents to prove I'm the owner of the cards I used to deposit.

I sent them everything last Tuesday and I was told it would take 24-48 hours.

Now it's monday and when I asked them via live chat, they said that my documents are still under review.

For those who have encountered similar situations, how long does it take to have the verification process completed ?

Is bet365 doing this to mess with me and try to take my fund ? Or it's just like a regular procedure ?

When should I start worrying and submit a formal complaint ?

Every case is individual. You wait untill they inform you its over. They will not fck you up for money,dont worry. Unless you tried to pull some stunts.

It depends on the book and situation. Bet365 took a few days to verify my documents back in June. Another, William Hill, did it in ten minutes in live chat.

20400 is nothing for bet365.

@XGod37 they are probably in the top 3 of the most reliable companies when it comes to payout, if you have nothing to hide then it's all good, they will pay. They are just butthurt because you won a big amount but they'll pay eventually.
