Betway does not settle bet for more than one year

I have a bet from 17.02.2019 that is still not settled.
The bet was a HT/FT bet and was won with 3,89 € @ 19.
Betway customer service told me over and over that there is an official check from the greek football league if the match was manipulated or not. It's more than a year now and Betway ist giving me again and again the same answer.

The result is to find in the official greek league tables and I can't find anything about a manipulation check regarding this match.

I hope someone can help and tell me what to do in this case.

Betway is a member of the International Betting Integrity Association and that is the body who looks after suspicious match reports and liases with the sporting bodies and tells Betway when they can release the funds bet on the event.

You can contact the IBIA and ask them to confirm if there really is a investigation ongoing and if your money is being lawfully held info@ibia.bet

But apart from that, you just pretty much have to wait.


This is a ridiculous process as almost everyone gets their money in the end and given that outcome I dont think it is justifiable to hold so many peoples money for so long.

There was actually some new rules released about this last week. Saying the IBIA would report to books every 6 months on progress instead of making hem ask for updates all the time. I'm not sure if that will help or make it worse myself.

I guess if you would have lost the bet it would have been settled within minutes. You need to find somebody who bet on the losing teams.
