This might be old news to some but I just learned that Owen passed away due to Covid a couple of months ago. That guy was a pleasure to deal with and a huge asset to that shop. Terrible news.

Dam really sorry to hear this. I remember years ago getting money orders for a payout from 1Vice after Americas bookie took them over. They sent them through UPS and had tracking, but they never showed up and I thought I was gonna get stiffed. I talked to Owen over the phone and he assured me they would resend the payment if it didn't arrive in another week. He wanted to wait a little longer because the package was only insured for $100 and the money orders were for $3,000, so they would end up having to eat the cost. It never arrived and Owen true to his word resent the payment and I finally got it. RIP Owen.Comment -

Oh WoW. Owen kept up with my bonus rollover requirement all the way until I reached it. So I chatted with him often. He let me know he was leaving 1Vice when he left. A great guy indeed. Owen probably made 1Vice look like a better book just by answering customer service inquiries on chat 💬.Comment -

It does suck, looks like he had a lot of fans here. From the sounds of it he fell victim to the misinformation and thought covid was nothing but a hoax.... Then caught it and it attacked his system really quickly. Guess by now we all know someone that has happened to but always sucks to see it happen again.Comment
