    No more **** at Bookmaker
    Bookmaker no longer accepts ****.

Oddly, Betmaker and Diamond, sister books of Betcris, do continue to take ****.

Also, odd, the spread on a couple of the NFL games are different at Diamond than at Bookmaker (particularly Bills +1 at Diamond and +1.5 at the other CRIS books).

I talked to customer service about all this and was told it was a "management decision".

CC never worked for me anywhere, even 5 years ago, so I could care less.

WWW card doesn't work either ( for me). Its now ** or nothing, or a transfer.

They no longer offer the option on their deposit screen

If you go to Bookmaker's deposit screen, they no longer offer the option to deposit by credit card. This is as of 8 PM EST, Oct. 30.

You can still use a credit card at Diamond and Betmaker. I do not know about Betcris.

I contacted customer service and they said it would be a $25 fee to deposit at diamond and transfer the funds to bookmaker. Bookmaker is offering better odds on a game than Diamond, so I would want to transfer the funds.

I have another option to make the bet at ABC Islands, but since ABC Islands rating dropped to B I have been shying away from them.

                  depositing at bookmaker

According to their deposit screen they accept wires, certified checks, and bank checks. They also have various person to person methods which I assume means Western Union and/or Money Gram. There are other person to person methods I have never heard of.

You can also make a credit card deposit to Diamond or Betmaker, sister books of bookmaker, and pay a $25 fee to have the funds transferred over.

You could also try to call them and do a credit card transaction over the phone. i personally like to type and use my mouse; I hate having to call people in Costa Rica.

Since they cover Western Union fees, but not fees transfering from sister books, I think I'll send them a Western Union tomorow.

Does that include prepaid **** cards too? I started using my debit card at bookmaker until it failed. Haven't deposit in a week, but my prepaid **** worked the last time I deposit, not sure now though. Probably stick to the greek for now. 1st it was betonline now it's bookmaker having credit card processing issues. Two A books with the same prob, what da hells going on!

You can deposit to diamond and then transfer it

You can still not use any credit card, debit card, or gift card as of 3:00 AM EST NOV 1st. This very much looks like a computer programming error, since you can use these cards at their sister book, Diamond, running on the same server, and then transfer the money over. Diamond generally has the same options and lines, but the college lines appear on Bookmaker first, and a few of the games have different lines, probably by mistake but I don't know. Transfering funds between Diamond and Bookmaker is a $25 fee. Another option is to call them on the phone and see if they will take a bookmaker cc deposit. I have done that before to exceed their $2K per month limit.

So, does it look like BookMaker will eventually get back to accepting credit cards?

                            What screen

I just logged into my account, clicked on cashier, and clicked on deposit. The option to use credit cards is gone. This is at Bookmaker. Diamond and Betmaker still have the option, although I haven't tried it and it may not work.

At BookMaker, the ability to accept credit as a deposit is still there for me too but when you actually go and try to deposit, it will give you an error and ask you to call. I won't accept any cards.

Hey Louis, I tried to deposit at Greek because I might be looking for a new book if BookMaker stops with the credit thing all together. Greek wont take ANY of my cards saying that "The bank does not allow transactions to gambling sites." They don't even try, they just see the name of the bank and that's what comes up. This whole credit thing is really getting to be a pain in the ass. Maybe the prepaid cards like you were talking about? Thing is I'm way out in the country so it's better to do it online.

I need a reliable book that doesn't ask for the name the the bank that issues the card and disguises their name so the bank doesn't suspect. (Or whatever they do...)

There are check cashing places where you live; they sell prepaid reloadable debit cards. they give you a temporary card, and then you get a permanent one in the mail. Green dot doesn't work, except for Intertops when I tried it. But check out those branded by ********.com. They should work. Order it on the net if you can't find a place in town that sells them (www.********.com) In South Jersey you should be able to go into a check cashing store and get them. ALso see if you can get a **** debit card on your bank checking account. If you can't consider opening up at another bank, especially a Credit Union. You will get a better deal on everything, interest, loans, fees, etc. etc. Walmart, grocery stores, drug stores all sell **** gift cards, but make sure they are good through out the world and are not green dot branded.

I don't think putting in the name of the bank is what gets it rejected. Putting in the name of the bank is something Greek asked you to do for security purposes. They make sure the name of the bank matches the name of the bank as registered in the database that **** maintains.

Greek does not have agreements with banks, to pre screen out cards like this. If the error is the bank rejects gaming transactions, how would you know Greek is making htis decision based on what they know about the banks? My opinion they send it through, and an error code comes back. Just because it happens quickly doesn't mean Greek is making the decision.
