i think they were suggesting that I had personally logged in using over 40 unique "devices". The issue was not with IP addresses and he did confirm that they only showed my account being accessed from a couple of IP addresses (which was the case). I would be happy for them to come search my house for even 4 different internet accessible devices. Furthermore, I'm not even sure why multiple devices/computers would affect the cards that are spit out using a random system?

positively will report it to SBR by the day's end if necessary...we're only talking days here and I wanted to give betonline.com a little more time before unnecessarily wasting my time or SBR's time. my post was merely for future customer considering betonline.com as I've been doing research and have found that others here have voiced uncertainty regarding this site. my post was NOT meant to be negative or a complaint about BetOnline.com. it was only stating my current situation in which the outcome is pending.

I can see why BOL would want to audit an account that had 2 big runs--and a $40,000 withdrawal is sure to attract some attention. However, being an A Book, you should collect if what you say is true. You're taking the right path; give BOL first shot at doing this right before calling in the big guns (SBR). Good Luck to you and congtrats on the big win.

They have paid me large amount

They have paid me about $30K, 3 chuncks of $10K each. They did ask me questions for security purposes, but I did not feel the questions were out of line. They also have asked me to fax in documentation. I do not feel the documentation was out of line.

Where there is a very large amount, I am often asked to participate in a security interview. What I do now is just ask for much more frequent withdrawals of less than $10K to avoid this nonsense.

My gut feeling is that they will pay every penny they owe you because they are a reputable book. It is too early yet to accuse BOL of anything. Cooperate with what they ask for you and you'll probably get paid.

Your odds of getting paid have lessened because of posting this on the forum first. You've threatened the book without both cases being heard by SBR and have put all in a bad situation.

If you do get paid, every scammer is now going to use the SBR forum to extort money from the book and give them bad press.

The book may tell you to go to hell because of your post. The SBR forum is no longer good to the book. They may just take your $70k because of this.

SBR would have posted your story and given them a decrease in grade if they were wrong. You could have posted your side of the story.

Next time go to SBR first. After that you then go to the forum.

Raiders, now when they do pay they will look like they deserve the A book rating because this has been made public. I don't think Jokerfly was that hard on them, hes just saying "lets see if I get paid". This just goes to what i have saying about betonline, that there customer service is lacking a little bit. The casino manager should have contacted him right away. That being said, I have no doubt that if what he says is true, he will get paid every penny. This book is very solid when it comes to payouts.

If Betonline caves in to this forum threat, guys will come out of the woodwork using the forum to get money from BOL.

He knew what he was doing by posting on the forum. He's forcing BOL's hand.

I've had problems with books in the past. One time I told them that I owned a forum and this would be over all the forums. They told F off, go ahead and do it.

I had to back track and they dug into the case deeper. Finally they paid me.

Another time I had a problem with a book. They kept telling me that there was a problem in their payout department, blah, blah. I was a mod at another site so I worked with them behind the scenes.

Because they kept stalling me behind the scenes I posted about it on a forum. The book paid.

I've been paid by BOL recently. It took them 5 days to pay although it was low 4 figures.

Proper protocol should be followed. Imagine if some guy came up to you on the street and threatened you. Most likely you'd tell him to go to hell. Once in a while you may cave in.

It would have been much easier for SBR if they had the chance to deal with BOL off the forum first. The story was going to come out on the forum either way.

Funny how these books stall and want to investigate when a player wins but no questions are asked when they lose and reload and reload and reload. Such BS the scrunity for a payout but will take anyones money with no questions asked.

You make a good point about posting to early before trying to get in resolved behind the scenes. You have obviously been around the industry longer than I have. Fortunately I have never had a major problem with a book. That may be because I am usually depositing and not withdrawing.

Regarding my initial post.

Thanks for everyones input. I hope that my post does not lessen my chances in a favorable outcome. I tried to make it clear that my situation was pending and it was not meant to be a threat to betonline.com and I really didn't even think this would be read by them. i was able to get into contact with their casino manager today and was basically informed that their investigation is still on going. Ultimately, anything that could be taken negatively from my post about betonline.com will be without merit if i end up having to seek the help of SBR and they do not agree with my case. I would have no credibility at that point. If anyone from SBR reads this, I would appreciate your input regarding my initial post...if it will do more harm than good for all parties, is there anything I can do about it?

Well if you wanted to get a more favorable response from people here you should have said it was "Sportsbook.com" instead of BetOnLine... It's amazing how inconsistant you people are...

In one case it's ok to post as many threads as possible calling a book thieves but in another case ...oh don't post early or they will tell you to get f*cked.. find out the details and work behind the scenes...

Everyone here has every right to post what honestly happens with a sportsbook. Now it is up to BOL to either look good or bad. The poster did nothing wrong to alert the community that he was starting to get nervous and other should hold off for a moment.

I was traveling a lot earlier this year. I placed bets at my books from probably 50+ different computers in 5 different countries. Never had a problem.

I agree that people should be able to state their complaints but the most important thing for jokerfly is to get paid. If Raiders knows information based on his experiences that will help jokerfly get paid then he should listen to that. It may not seem logical that a book would not pay if someone complains on a forum, but that doesn't mean it is not true.

I would tend to agree with that statement to a certain degree Raiders.

Yeah, I have read this thread and I would think that BOL is trying to fabricate some evidence to screw you. I registered with them awhile back, but when I called to make a deposit they just seemed really unprofessional. They told me my only option that day was moneygram, and the guy told me how to do it so quickly I couldn't even understand him. But he was sure to tell me that when I called back i HAD to talk to him so he could get credit for the deposit. I think it is fishy that they would allow you to make so many bets all along, and they only question you when you try to withdraw the money. WHAT ABOUT WHEN YOU DEPOSITED? I am sure you made multiple deposits, why didn't they question you about the supposed multple computers then? If I were you I would demand to see what proof they have of these 50 computers you were using. They are probably just stalling you for the withdrawl hoping that you will get antsy and lose the money while they conduct their "investigation". Thats why if i were you I would not make any wagers or bets in the casino--they probalby just think you will take care of thier little problem on your own. I might be wrong, but to me it just sounds like Bet Online is in a little bit over thier heads, kinda like the small time freshman bookie we all knew back in college--they just aren't ready for the bigtime. They should lower thier limits or something if they can't pay when someone actually wins. Hopefully they pay you, but if not then I guess everyone knows where NOT to bet from now on. Agree with those of you that say it is frustrating how easy it is to pour money into a book and how hard it is to get it out, but from a business standpoint, you know this isn't all that ridiculous.

If every time you tried to deposit money you were met with a tirade of questions and asked for documentation, etc, you'd probably look for another book. Most gamblers deposit, lose, deposit, lose, and never even get around to withdrawing. When you are taking someone's money, you don't need to ask questions. When you are giving away money, you want to make sure its legit.

Frustrating to us but it makes perfect sense.

I agree, frustrating, but not good business. I have been through the hoops to withdraw money before, and it has never been about them trying to fabricate some story. Most sites will have a waiting period but they call it that. In joker's case it looks like they are unable to cover his winnings, so they are making up a phony story to try and screw him. They are probably fabricating some evidence or soemthing so they can tell the SBR that he was the one at fault. He should be allowed to see the documentation of the 50 computers they say he is using. Anyway, who would use 50 computers anyway? I think good business is one thing--making players wait to withdraw money is obviously smart. But fraud is another thing. A good book will try everything possible to limit itself from having to pay out money, but they all should know that once in a great while, they will be forced to pay out. Just like in vegas, they don't treat big winners like crap. They are nice to them--knowing that they will be back if they are treated well, and eventually lose the money. I just don't think a small operation like BOL can afford to pay joker, so they are basically trying to put the blame on him.
