#2does that mean you'd have to wait 7+ days for the deposit to clear ?
seems you would being an exchange.Comment -
#3My friend told me that he tried that last year, and just took 5days to be credited into his accountComment -
#4seems iffy to me post 6/1/10.Comment -
#5it's like paying an utility bill. but the maximum is up to $3000. the fees are 3.5%. but they will pay you back in your commission credit. even thought it takes a bit long. it's still a very good deposit method.Comment -
#67-10 days? Wow. I fund my books with wire transfer, and the max it's ever taken was 2 days.Comment -
#7Very good option 5-7 days, you dont have to leave your house to send money to some stranger with four names, easy.Comment -
#8i like using gift cards....they are quick & easyComment -
#9I do not comprehend why anyone uses anything but bank wires.
Many large banks do online wires. I have never had a problem and doubt I ever will.
International wires are common.Comment -

#11If someone can shed light of the gift card thing go ahead.
And bank wires?
How much does a bank charge for that?
What is the minimum? I'm not a guy who deposits a lot of money. I'm mostly an action gambler.Comment -
#12i am not seeing direct deposit as an option. then i was going to call them. they do not even have a phone number now. that was the 1 thing i hated about pinny. of course still would use them as i will Matchbook. just would rather talk to someone when a problem or question comes up. and all the restrictions on transfers to do with WSEX - match is getting worse.Comment -
#13Bank wires cost $25-40. Books usually pick it up. Most books have a $500 or $1000 minimum.
If you are depositing less than that, Fedex cash - seriously. No one is going to steal $100.

#14Didn't know you could Fedex cash. How long does it usually take? 2-3 days?Comment -

#16Sounds good to me.Comment -
#17I just logged into my Matchbook account and Direct Deposit is not an available option. Am I missing something here?Comment -
#18It doesn't offer me direct deposit eitherComment -
#19I am going to make another direct deposit in this coming week. because that's the only way to deposit into my matchbook account with no charge..Comment -
#20Direct Depsoit is only for certain customers, not everyone.Comment -
#21I did this last year, and the intermediary that handled the deposit claimed they never received any money from me. It took three weeks and a trip to the bank to get a copy of the deposited "check" and send it to Matchy to set things right. I suppose that this experience was not the norm for Direct Deposit because Matchy totally doubted my story and were apathetic to my plight until I produced documentation.
Once I proved to be an honest man, Customer Service was as kind as an email-only customer service department could be. A book would have had a phone number, credit until the deposit was found, and perhaps a bonus for my trouble. An exchange can only apologize. But since no one else is complaining, I will probably try it again come football season. One cent lines call for compromises. Man, I miss Neteller and *******.Comment -

#24Never send cash. Cashier's/Certified check only.Comment -
#25I have a pending direct deposit -- will update.Comment -

#27Deposit took 6 biz days. Notified my MB when they had gotten it cleared.
EASY way to get $$$ to Matchbook!Comment -
#28It worked for me as well, all you have to do is pay a bill online through your checking account to a company they tell you and you are good to go, takes awhile but never have to leave home. I am a fan.Comment -
#29Out of curiosity, what law is one breaking if they fedex cash? There may well be a law, but if it's under $10,000 I don't know of one. Still I just use bank wiresComment -

"So you see, sending cash is obviously NOT against the law.
However, overnight carriers have regulations against sending cash with their service. These are not laws, just company policy. UPS does not allow sending cash internationally. Fedex and DHL will not ship cash at all."Comment -
#31I just made a direct deposit with matchbook for the max and it worked perfectly and took about 6 days to complete. A very simple way to deposit in a good book for MLB.
You can only make one of these at a time and there is no limit so getting 3 or 4 of these down in one month can easily be done.
Customer support said they will be making additional (positive) changes soon to their withdraw and deposit methods but wouldnt comment further then that.Comment -
#32When I fund my account - Direct deposit is the only method I use.
If you send it on a Friday - it will be in your account the next Friday.
I have wired them money - but my bank doesnt do Intl wires online - and then you have to go thru putting in the IBAN Codes, Swift Codes, All the weird Intl addresses. But it will get there 24-48 hours sooner by wire.
But Direct deposit is the easiest way.
Just email them and they send you your account # which they need to set up for you.Comment -
#33I just did it right now for $3,000. Does anyone know when is the next day i can make another deposit? They say its better to wait for the amount to hit your account first. I know you need another account number to make another deposit but would it be possible to make deposits in straight days?Comment -
#34I wonder why they can't just copy the books that are still processing credit cards. What stops them from finding out what they do and set it up?Comment
