At the M casino, huge limits. Other casinos do have embarrassing low limits. But if you are a table player, they will allow you to make large wagers at the sportsbook.

as is what makes sense.. if u are a regular there and play other games like tables.. or bet sports regularly u can usually be approved for larger bets. and also bigger games they open up more available action (i.e. superbowl)

with that being said most books average a 2K max.. but there is a few books that allow 5-10K if u ASK.. and of course celebs and pros in other sports/poker..etc can bet 50K+ very easily because they are well-known. (and more than like losers/degenerates) LOL

This is kind of what I have heard also.

Until fairly recently, there was very limited options to get down big bets - but I have heard that basically the M will take on all comers. I saw a screenshot of a regular season NFL ticket for 125K.

I am not an expert on this at all. I havent been to vegas in over 10 years, but I follow it as closely as I can....

Very few Vegas books will have limits as low as 2K.....even the Plaza downtown(which is a dump) has taken 5k bets from me before. And alot of books in Vegas have more than one book ....like Boyd gaming. The Hilton,Caesars and the M all have high limits and will sometimes go above them if you ask.

Are you talking about opening limits or right before game time?

I remember from reading the book about the fictional/real character Big Daddy Matthews. Basically a big bettor using a complex computer system..The Casinos where at first very happy for the action, until they saw him winning more than losing..morale of the story, wveryone will welcome you if you bet like a square, but get really pissed if they get beat.

Can't you just have others place the bets for you? Don't wives and girlfriends and buddies do it for these banned large bettors all the time.

I saw a post here before showing Floyd Mayweather betting slip with $100,000 on the line. He was a post Mayweather put on his twitter.
