I'm fortunate enough to live somewhere that I don't have to rely on offshore books if I choose not to, but for those of you who do, it's sad that twerps like this can contribute to the multitude of problems some of these books have. I know Sportsbook is shithouse according to SBR but I'll give them 2 thumbs up for not only busting these jerks but also for sending back 'Daniel's' initial $1000 deposit. I personally would've told him to get stuffed.
If I was a naughty kind of girl, I'd spend a few hours over the next couple of days taking down the Dollar Scholar. The guy is a prick - and even worse, he's idiotic. Come on Sharpie, Dark Horse, Chuck, Hareeba, etc... you guys have the knowledge of the offshore industry and of every dodgy betting trick in the book to take this guy down for good. Maybe just dispose of him quickly now because he'll be in huge trouble if he keeps trying to continue at this rate. Consider it your Good Samaritan act of the decade.Comment -
#318Classic bad guy right out of the movies. Just has to talk and talk until someone sneaks up behind him and konks him over the head, right before the movie ends.
I don't know, at this moment, if he is still on parole, but I recall one of the conditions of his parole was that his internet access was restricted and he was prohibited from accessing gaming sites, auction sites, etc. I'll look into that and post if anyone is interested.Great work CyberSleuth I hope Sportsbook.com works to resolve your issue with them for your contribution to this case.

#320I swear I almost posted the same thing yesterday - these guys aren't the brightest stars in the sky and authorities need to be notified - but I didn't want to cop the bashing for advocating snitchlike activities.

I don't condone snitching to a certain degree but when someone does something that effects my way of life I take it personally. It is guys like this who are a big reason why the US passed the UIGEA complicating my way of life and it is guys like this who make it so complicated for me to both deposit funds and to receive withdrawals in a timely fashion.Comment -
#321Did Lou put a short term ban on this guy yesterday? Is that why he is not responding? If so when is the ban removed? Curious to hear this guy respond.Comment -
#322This thread should be Pinned.
SBR at its absolute finest, so many awesome parts to it. Mods telling him "your" info should't be posted, he continues posting and all is revealed. Whats funny is had he just kept his facebook as private or not given his facebook here we wouldn't have known his name and down the detective work we did!Comment -

This dude is a scumbag and considering his Facebook post talks of publicity stunts that's what I'm chalking this up to. Anyone with half a brain would know SBR would investigate this -especially against a book they've rated shitty. Not a sponsor - just a crappy book according to SBR. So there's nothing to lose or gain from their confronting them. I really think this peabrain was just hoping SBR would harass SB until the payout was reached and the kid ends up with multiple FaceBook and Twitter views and hopefully 'friends'. Absolutely unreal.Last edited by shari91; 02-11-11, 01:10 PM.Comment -
#324I just wish that there was a way for sportsbooks they cheated to get their money backComment -
#325This is simply the best thread of the year!!!Comment -
#326This is very similar to a "murder" in which the perpetrator enters a residence and kills the "victim" and decides to steal the victims car and put the victim in the trunk of the car. All the while the perpetrator is driving deciding on a "dump" site for the body is speeding with a tail light out and is pulled over by the police at 2:00 AM. The policy are already suspicious and run a quick hit on the liscense and find out the driver has a warrant outstanding and decide to search the vehicle and find the body in the back of the trunk.Wonder how they caught me
Crime does not pay, especially considering 95%+ of the time the criminals are not very smart.

#328Does Sportsbook deserve a rating bump (instead of a rating decrease) because of this? Or are they still scumbags who just happened to be on the right side of this one?Comment -

This jerk started a fake Facebook account to capitalize on the Arizona shootings.
His Twitter profile says he is in talks with MTV for a new show, is this true?
Please do not reward this POS!!!!Comment -

#350Even though he has a history of scamming, the nature of the scam still needs to be identified before the book can rightfully not pay him. Even an ex-con can go on a hot streak. A suspicion of a scam is not enough reason not to pay. Of course, if the person didn't sign up under his real name that would be enough reason not to pay. But there needs to be something tangible.Comment
