#37I sent one to Lou. Thanks....
I just got on Sportsbook.com chat 2 more times since posting that transcript and these 2 reps act like no decision has been made, here's one of the two....
Please wait for a site operator to respond. You are now chatting with 'Carla Meyers'
Daniel Taghdiri: hi i got disconnected
Carla Meyers: Hello
Carla Meyers: Your inquiry was regarding your account balance correct?
Daniel Taghdiri: can you please confirm my account balance which is on hold
Daniel Taghdiri: yes
Carla Meyers: At the moment your request has been sent to review to the department in charge, the status is pending, as they are currently working on this, As soon as they have an update rest assured that they will be contacting you by email
Daniel Taghdiri: How come the rep 2 hours ago told me I had to find the person who had an account in 2009 and chargedback $800?
Daniel Taghdiri: And that my $1000 deposit was refunded
Daniel Taghdiri: And if the $800 was paid then my account and winnings would be restored. Is that true?
Carla Meyers: That representative sent in a ticket regarding your inquiry to the proper department and at the moment that inquiry is pending, since it is currently in review
Daniel Taghdiri: So you can't tell me what my balance is at?
Carla Meyers: They will be contacting you within the next 24 hours
Daniel Taghdiri: No one has ever contacted me
Daniel Taghdiri: Not on this first decision
Carla Meyers: We do not disclose that information, that is why it was forwarded to the department in charge. Rest assured that you will be contacted within that time frame. I apologize for the inconvenience
Daniel Taghdiri: The rep 2 hours ago disclosed my balance to me.
Daniel Taghdiri: Why do each of you say different things???
Carla Meyers: You have 3 accounts that are related that have chargebacks as per account comments. You say that you do not know any of this people , a ticket has been forwarded regarding this issue and it is in review. The department in charge will be contacting you within the next 24 hours regarding this inquiry
Daniel Taghdiri: On Sunday night after the Superbowl I spoke to the first rep who told me just to send in my documents showing my identity, along with a note saying I have no idea who those people are - and what has it got me??? A rep 2 hours ago telling me that my account will remain closed unless those 3 accounts $800 is paid for. Well I will pay for it. What more needs to be done??? How do I pay for it?? It is not my debt but I will pay it to get my account and winnings restored.
Then I was disconnected.Comment -

#40This thread is full of fail. Take your email out of your posts, genius. I'm not sure what the other guys in this thread think but I'm about 75% sure that this guy did the chargebacks. Your reckless style of betting definitely fits with a gambler who bet more than he could afford to and thought he could get away with stiffing the book.Comment -
#41I have been with sportsbook.com for years and must say they have gotten better. I am a very large player. a platinum member as they call it. a few years ago when they had processor issues i was pretty frustrated. a few weeks ago one of my use my wallet withdrawals took longer than the 2 to 3 days its supposed to take and i complained. However in the last week i have requested and taken out a large amount with this method and both my withdrawals were processed in two days which I am very happy with. They are inconsistent at times but have gotten much better. I was worried after the super bowl it would take weeks to get my money but was very surprised to see last night both withdrawals were processed. Just some thoughts on the book.Comment -

How come this type of thing has never happened to 1 of the thousands of contributing posters here at SBR?
Seems very odd to me also that a kid in college would deposit $1,000 and start firing away with $200+ parlays and is also accused of having a history of chargebacks. This is ********** style betting Deposit a small amount and start firing away with big money on longshot bets and if you lose ********** if you win no **********.Comment -

This is like the 10th time I have heard this exact storyline here in the last year and ironically every single time it has been from a first time poster.

Sportsbook knows he fits the bill of a ********** type person and could just be making up this ********** bullshit since he "fits the **********" profile and the people on the boards will think there is some truth to these ********** claims.Comment -

#46what i dont get is why does a sportsbook wait until you win and try to withdrawal before they claim you have chargebacks in the past? Wouldnt they flag you when you signed up? Or when you deposited taken the money you allegedly owed them? And something tells me if he lost thousands and kept depositing, they wouldnt have had any issue with chargebacks..Comment -

Here are the parlays I did that equal $26,000 and change. Are they really so crazy???? I had 2,000+ from my $1,000 deposit, got a $100 bonus, and had won a 3 team soccer parlay when I submitted these for Super Bowl Sunday. We had a friends party to root on all the games starting with 9am NCAA on tv, and then the celtics abc, and penguins/capitals on nbc.... leading up to the Superbowl... I owe 2 friends a share of the money, it wasn't even my full $1000, only like $600 of it is MINE......We didn't even expect to win them all, as you can see, there is a core of 2-4 picks that we needed or all the parlays lost, but we banked on that core (especially the Packers), and the rest were a mix of different teams. We just expected a few of the parlays to win, but they all won.....We got together for super bowl day and did these teams to root on, and the packers completed it, and then we log in and it says disabled. There is no history of chargebacks, they are saying 3 random accounts from 2009 have $800 in debts that are linked to me by some public unsecured signal from the neighborhood I used from the friends house on superbowl. I signed up from my home which is a private secured signal... I've used 3-4 signals to login sportsbook.com , my friends houses and such, and now just because one of them was used on some random account 2 years ago with them, they are holding my $26,000 hostage.... The part about my billing address being the same is pure genius on their part, its a complete lie because I can't accept that 000.000001% coincidence that someone used my billing address 2 years ago. I challenged SportsBook.com to show me the records of those 3 accounts since they wanted me to track down the people on them, but they wouldn't show me anything and just kept saying the billing address is the same. If SBR can call their bluff they will be called out for the liars they are being on that, and for the ip address, yea i can see one of the ip addresses i logged in from being the same, but not the one I signed up with them from, just one from the neighborhood unsecured signals or the starbucks signal I have no clue, they won't tell me anything, or show me hard documents just what that rep said which i posted on this thread already
Like I said I've never done a ********** in my life and this is the first card I have ever had. My credit report is completely clean and blank.

#50OP, it's really NOT a good idea to post your ID, etc., here, even with things blacked out. I know you're trying to prove your innocence, but we're really just random posters on a public board. It's not worth worrying about what we think; we haven't got your cash.
If I were you, I'd try to calm down a little. This is probably going to take at least a few days to get resolved. So wait for SBR to get back to you, or contact SBR again. You'll need their help because you need someone higher up than the CSR reps you're talking to at Sportsbook to take a look at your case. SBR will talk to management for you.Comment -
#51I want everyone to know what Sportsbook.com is doing so if airing my info will help save someone else, then I'm willing to do that. What is OP???Comment -

#53Please file a complaint with SBR. Do so through email, and put all of the relevant facts and correspondence. If they find you are correct and Sportsbook cannot prove their case, they will at least warn everyone else and downgrade them further. If you are not willing to file a complaint, then please do not post any more about your story here, as it will not be regarded as true.
Best of luck in resolving this matter, and let us know how the SBR investigation pans out.Comment -

#55Does anyone else have an account with sportsbooks.com? I have around $500 on there right now but have never withdrawn from the site. Don't like hearing stories like this.Comment -
#56It's sportsbook.com ....They didn't care when I went from $1,000 deposit to $2,300 balance after a 3 team soccer parlay won.... It was only after winning my all day marathon parlays that brought my balance to $26,000 that they deactivated my account. So your $500 should be fine. Def don't try to win a lot - unless sportsbook.com fixes this themselves.Comment -
#57They've canceled tons of winning parlays, nothing new here.Comment -
#58Just got this from SportsBook.com. What should I make of this???? They refunded me my $1000 deposit. Have my winnings deactivated, but claim if I pay the $800 that is owed from an account in 2009 that they now say may have inadvertently been reversed? Still, their claim they have multiple evidence that my account is linked with those accounts is nonsense. One of the times I logged in on Sunday may have been the same IP address, but if I'm accessing it from multiple internet signals then I'm bound to have logged in at a signal that someone else used to screw sportsbook.com before.... the billing address being the same is nonsense, they have to be lying, and SBR will conclude that when Sportsbook.com won't give proof.... but in the meantime, would they really let this be documented and lie if they weren't going to give the account and winnings back if this $800 debt is paid???? I'll pay it in a second, just waiting on people's advice and SBR...
Dear Daniel,
Thank you for contacting us.
This e-mail is to inform you that we have various measures in place to detect individuals who try to register accounts and linked them to others they may have across the network. Unfortunately, we are unable to elaborate further as commenting on these measures would be self defeating. Maintaining the integrity of our site is our highest priority and we are always happy to investigate the concerns of our players.
Again, we really apologize for this inconvenience, but in this case specifically we have found multiple evidence that relate you to this account and have decided to refund your initial deposit of $1000.00 to card xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx3. Should you want to play with us you will have to pay off all debts acquired after the refund is made and request the related accounts to pay off theirs as well.
We will also have to warn you that all accounts created by you will be closed immediately.
It is possible that the charges were not recognised and were reversed inadvertently. However, we cannot proceed with any further transactions on your account until these chargebacks have been repaid via cash transfer. The chargebacks amount to $800.00 . Please contact us over Live Chat or phone for more information about how to repay these chargebacks and resolve this issue. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter. Your reference ID for this email is LTK61704385818X; please quote this number in any further communication on this subject.
Kind regards,
Orlando Staley

#59I call bullshit. If you "owe" them $800 because of chargebacks, why wouldn't they just keep your $1,000 deposit and call it a day?Comment -
#60Why anyone would continue to play at this shitty book is beyond me. Do your damn home work people. Especially when your sending money to a 3rd world country, where ** is placed in a hut at a village.

#62I just sent this in reply, and CC'd the manager email that was at the bottom of their reply
Let me understand this correctly. You have refunded my $1,000 deposit, and insist I pay $800 by cash transfer to cover the debt made by an account in 2009 from someone other then myself, and then you will have me send my $1,000 back to you and restore my account **** and it's $26,000 balance from legitimate winnings I made in Super Bowl parlays. Is this correct? Why not just take the $800 out of my $1,000 deposit? Or my winnings? How is this efficient?
Just confirm what I have just clarified from your confusing email. If this is the case I will arrange to send you $800 right away, but for the record I will adamantly state I am only doing this for damage control on my emotional state of distress for believing I had won $26,000 only to be ripped off at this point for some fake excuse that you guys are giving me implying that I am this other person even though I've shown you all my documents to prove my identity and my deposit for $1,000 was successful. So what that one of my later logins was done from an unsecured internet signal in this neighborhood or from starbucks which someone used when they did business with you in 2009 - that means nothing about my parlay winning, or that I am completely unrelated to that person. That is the only link there is, and it's a coincidence.
Please just confirm the first paragraph and we will resolve this without SBR involvement, and my friends websites. If your not intending to let me have access to my balla41 account and bet the $26,000 winnings, please say so now, or what I gather from your email is a resolution to pay the $800 debt of someone from 2009, and then my account will be restored immediately. Correct?

#63They didn't cancel my parlays. They won, and my balance reflects that. They are just linking me to some account from 2009 just because I inadvertently used the same unsecured internet signal to login to my account after I had already made my account from my home and bet and won a 3 game parlay to bring my balance to $2,000. They didn't care until I won more parlays and got to $26,000......Comment -

info: Please wait for a site operator to respond.
info: You are now chatting with 'Alfred Thompson'
Alfred Thompson: Hi Daniel.
Alfred Thompson: How may I help you today?
Daniel Taghdiri: Hello Alfred, i wanted to confirm that if if i pay the $800 dollars that is owed from whoever opened an account in 09 that is linked to mine for some reason, that i will be given access to my account with its balance of $26,000
Alfred Thompson: Please hold for a moment while I look up your account...
Daniel Taghdiri: even though i dont see how that $800 is my responsibility
Daniel Taghdiri: i am willing to do that because i don't need this emotional distress and headache anymore
Alfred Thompson: Please give me a moment to look into this...
Daniel Taghdiri: i thought i had won $26000 and now you take it away from me without reason
info: Your chat transcript will be sent to danieltaghdiri@yahoo.com at the end of your chat.
Alfred Thompson: Daniel can you give me a moment to check your account?
Daniel Taghdiri: okay
Alfred Thompson: Thank you for waiting. I'll be with you in just a moment - please do not close this chat window!
Daniel Taghdiri: okay
Alfred Thompson: I just reviewed and yes the ********** amount is $800.00, if you pay that amount your account will be activate and everything will be back to normal.
Daniel Taghdiri: so why would you charge back the $1000 deposit?
Daniel Taghdiri: and why can't you just take the $800 out of my account balance?
Daniel Taghdiri: none of what you are doing is reasonable or efficient.
Alfred Thompson: I understand your position but unfortunately this process does not work that way. The only way to activate is paying via ** in order to activate your account.
Daniel Taghdiri: And how do i know you aren't just going to take that money and not reopen my account?
Daniel Taghdiri: you're already being dishonest by closing my account and claiming i have the same address as someone else that opened an account in 2009. There is no possible way they could have used my address, 28191 Singleleaf
Daniel Taghdiri: i have lived here my whole life
Daniel Taghdiri: no one at my house has opened an account with you
Daniel Taghdiri: and my mailbox has a key
Alfred Thompson: As a first thing the deposit that you made has been refunded to your card, this process could take up to 15 days.
Daniel Taghdiri: they couldnt have gotten a CC with my address and taken it out of my mailbox
Daniel Taghdiri: this chase VC card is the only card i have ever owned
Alfred Thompson: Secondly if your account is related to another account with ********** it is for something and there is a specific department who take card for that.
Alfred Thompson: Also we don't need to take your money, as you can see we are working to credit your deposit back as we mentioned the ********** is for a related account to yours not you. If you want to pay that ********** is up to you and it will be activate your account.
Alfred Thompson: You can contact the person who place the ********** and tell him to pay.
Daniel Taghdiri: how would i contact that person and why would they listen to me?
Alfred Thompson: According with your account you were informed already with the information about all this matter.
Daniel Taghdiri: anyway, that's irrelevant, its not going to happen. Just tell me what steps I need to take in paying the 800 and repaying my original deposit to get my account reopened
Daniel Taghdiri: I was informed somewhat, but it was all very vague and not definite about what would happen
Alfred Thompson: One moment please.
Daniel Taghdiri: yes sir
Alfred Thompson: In order to repay these funds via ** cash transfer you will need to transfer the money using the following details: Your ** receiver is: Virgilio SOLIS L
The location is MANAGUA (city), NICARAGUA (country) It's very important that you copy the name and location exactly as it appears above. The smallest error can cause your transaction to be delayed. Now, please take a moment to read the conditions below:- We accept cash or CC transfers made at your local ** agency or online. Cash transfers are processed quicker.
- This receiver name must be used today.
- If the ** agency requires a second last name or initial then you must contact us again to obtain a name that meets requirements.
- The receiver name is valid for one transaction only.
Once you have your 10 digit 'control' number (MTCN) from ** you'll need to contact us over the phone or the live chat. Unfortunately, we will not reimburse any fees on transactions of this nature.
Once the funds have been retrieved, the account will be activated within 24-48 hours.
Daniel Taghdiri: okay and what about the $1000 you said you were refunding?
Alfred Thompson: As I mentioned we processed the refund on February 7, it takes around 15 days to show up in your statement or CC.
Daniel Taghdiri: but you said i needed to repay that...
Daniel Taghdiri: can't you just cancel the refund?
Alfred Thompson: The ********** is for $800.00 only, and that is the only amount that you need to pay.
Alfred Thompson: The $1000.00 were returned to you for security reasons, you don't have or need to pay that.
Alfred Thompson: Is there anything else I may assist you with today?
Daniel Taghdiri: okay thank you very much for your help
Alfred Thompson: You're very welcome.
Alfred Thompson: Thank you for chatting with us today. If you've got a moment, please click here and fill out our survey. We'd really appreciate your feedback.Comment -

We've received your complaint and are following up on your behalf. For some reason, your identity/payment information tripped the alarm. We'll confirm what evidence Sportsbook.com might have in believing that you previously defrauded them out of $800. Justin will be updating the board with his findings.
