#214Daniel...Pretty simple
If all this story is true.
Get a buddy with the same AREA CODE to call sportsbook.com. Have him say this is "cole delgado" and I was contacted by Daniel, that I did a ********** on your gambling site 2 years ago. I am willing to send 800 via ** to your account, and I am sorry that I stiffed you guys 2 years ago, But Daniel has agreed that if I contacted you guys and paid my 800, he would give me 1,000 of his winnings.
Pretty simple. You're gonna get ate up in the world if you can't put together a simple little hustle to gage their response, and see if they make you jump through more hoops or not. If they start requesting all types of shit, then you know they are lying about the whole thing, and are going to stiff you. All they want is there 800 from cole delgado, then you'll have your money, so have a buddy call them tonight, then get back to us.Comment -

#218This guy knows the people who scammed sportsbook.com.
Sportsbook.com is one of the biggest books in the world. They didnt **** this kid over at all, he has been ******* them over for the past few years. Had he lost this $1000, then he would have issued another ********** that is for sure!Comment -
#219UPDATE
Got another email from Sportsbook.com. Don't know if this is an old response from one of my queued emails to a bunch of their addresses I rounded up or what, but the news is horrible. Don't know what kind of authority this Annie has.. Must predate SBR's involvement and not the final word. I will hold off on the $800 now...But this is unreal, Sportsbook.com has now gone from saying I'll have my account reopened if I send my documents to show my identity and write a note saying I don't know who this person and that person are and have no knowledge of those accounts to saying I need to pay $800 to cover the debts in an account from 2009 and then my account will be restored, to finally YOUR BANNED. Their inconsistency speaks for itself.
Dear Daniel,
We would like to inform you that we will not be collecting any of the owed funds from neither your account nor the past problematic accounts linked to you. That is to say that we have decided to Ban all accounts linked to this case for good and none will be re-open.
We wanted to confirm that the deposit made for $1000.00 in your account CID 653480846. Has been refunded to your card xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and we are voiding all activity in this account.
Please accept our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience our decision and the results of our review may cause.
Sincerely,
Annie D
Sportsbook.xxx has their reps on here reading everything you post. Assuming your story is on the up, you dug your own hole to bury yourself in. Be happy you got your $1000 back!
I'm with many others on here that your story has a lot of holes in it from having betting partners to depositing a $1000 bucks to bet on the superbowl yet starting the day out with soccer and nba parlays. very breezy my friend.
I am not defending the book in question but if I'm managing a book and someone deposits a dime and rolls it up to $26k via parlays in 12 - 14 hours, i'm locking your account down as well to investigate what is going on. That's business 101.
BOL to you.Comment -

#221Okay as the OP requested, I will post what I found in just a brief investigation. When the OP first started posting, I felt a bit of compassion for him as I actually found this site because I wanted to post about a bad experience I had with SB.com. However, as I read his posts, I began to recognize things he was saying that were similar to a past criminal case that was in the media several years ago. I am also in SoCal. When he posted the name Cole Delgado, and his own address in SoCal I was pretty certain I knew who he was, especially when he mentioned that he went into the parlay bets with his buddies, and they split the winnings. Here's the story:
In 2004, a guy named Cole Bartiromo was arrested for running an illegal boomaking operation in Mission Viejo, CA with his buddies, all of whom were in High School. He was also charged with various stockmarket fraud schemes. He was recently released from federal prison. I found it quite coincidental that this group of HS guys lived in the same neighborhood as the OP. I also found it a coincidence that the OP's payout was being withheld due to a ********** involving a Cole Delgado.
The OP posted a link his Facebook page. Cole Bartiromo is on his friends list. By the way the OP did not message me(big surprise). I think he was using the forum to pressure SB.com to pay him. I will look in to a couple more things and post one more time. Of course, this could all just be a coincidence. It looks like SB.com got this one right.Comment -

According to court documents and interviews with investors, however, it was sporting events rather than trading cards that was at the core of the Web site Invest Better 2001. Beginning on Nov. 1, the SEC said Cole promised investors huge short-term returns with no risk by letting him pool their cash and place bets with online sports books.
On the site, Cole offered a "Christmas Miracle" package, with returns of up to 2,500%.

O.C. Teen Infamous for Internet Scam Faces Charges in Bank Fraud
The Mission Viejo 19-year-old, who paid $1.2 million to settle Internet-fraud complaints last year, says he is innocent.
January 30, 2004|David Reyes | Times Staff Writer
A Mission Viejo teenager who paid more than $1.2 million last year to settle federal Internet-fraud complaints has been charged with conspiracy to defraud an Orange County bank of $450,000.
Cole Bartiromo, who gained notoriety two years ago when he was alleged to have been one of the nation's youngest Internet con artists, is facing federal fraud charges in an alleged wire transfer scheme at a Wells Fargo Bank in Mission Viejo.
Bartiromo, 19, insisted Thursday that he is innocent and that the Securities and Exchange Commission has told other federal agencies to target him as a result of the Internet scheme.
According to a federal affidavit, Bartiromo admitted his role in the bank fraud. His trial is scheduled March 9 in federal court. If found guilty, the maximum penalty is five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The indictment says Bartiromo attempted to recruit a Wells Fargo employee to let him wire funds from a customer's account to an offshore bank and gamble with the money through a British sports book.
He said he would return the money to the account, less his winnings, before the account's owner knew the money was missing, according to the indictment.

#230Things are starting to add up. Cole Bartrimo is the mastermind behind this, by using his friend Daniel debit account to facilitate his bets. Cole is probably the dude putting up them ridiculous soccer plays.
So his offer to Daniels is "let me use your debit account to place X amount money on these bets". If everything goes as plan we will be 20k richer. If not, we'll just charge Sportsbook.com back. So Daniels is guarantee to at least get money back, according Cole.
This is just my theory so far based on the newspaper report, but Daniels could still be honest in all of this and everything is pure coincidence.Comment -

Either way how does that explain them having the same address? I don't think Cole Bartirimo is stupid enough to use his friend who has the same address.Comment -

#233Daniel, when you placed the bets from Starbucks, were you using the same computer as the one you created your account with? Was it you placing the bets at Starbucks, or one of your friends who was sharing your action?Comment -
