SportsBook.com Has Disabled My Account with $25,000+ balance after winning SB Parlays

Is it normal for you to bet like such a maniac? The nature of the bets, combined with the whole ********** issue, are suspicious.

However, Sportsbook.com has a bad reputation for stiffing winners. The have earned this bad reputation over the years. And now that they have earned such a reputation, it's impossible to just assume that they are not lying in this case. They are capable of inventing the ********** story out of whole cloth, because boy do they love to stiff big winners.

Lately they have been trying to improve their rep though. I have to say that I have won big there and have been paid very quickly.

You should file a complaint with SBR against Sportsbook.com. Don't worry, SBR is a mortal enemy of Sportsbook. I imagine that they are like the Jets and the Sharks down in CR. I wonder what happens when the SBR crew is hanging out in the Rey and a bunch of Sportsbookers stroll in? So SBR will go to bat for you for sure, assuming you are not lying. Whether SBook listens them is another story.

But file a complaint with SBR.

It was Super Bowl Sunday, I always go big and put in a big parlay for it. It wasn't so crazy, I did MONEY LINE Heat, Celtics, Knicks, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Ohio St... But yes, I normally do go for big parlays. Its my form of the lottery. You get to pick your own teams and see what happens. They can think it suspicious all they want, the fact is that my deposit was successfully paid with my debit card and bets were pending, but once I won, my account was suddenly disabled. Why offer VC if they are going to do this to people..... I have sent them my driver's license, bank statement showing their charge, utility bill and front back of the card itself to prove my identity. Do you believe this will be resolved?

Twice now I have posted this similar message in the Gaming Industry forum over there, and twice now it has been deleted and my user id has lost the ability to post new messages. Why are they ranking sportsbook.com as the #6 spot if SBR has them at a D-??? Are they one and the same????

And for the record, I deposited, I played my big parlays, I won, and then my account was disabled. No chargebacks, no instant deposit situation, nothing that would give them an excuse for this.... I have contacted SBR. Let's see what happens.

It is very hard for me to post right now because something is wrong with my SBR account. The server is very slow for me and sometimes it times out when I try to post.

This is your best chance. Sportsbook.com has been trying to improve their reputation. It is possible you will get paid. I can't make a good prediction, because I don't actually know what happened. You could be a ********** scammer for all I know. In fact, if SBook were a reputable book, I would lean towards that assumption. SBook does not have a good reputation in these matters though.

Covers is a joke.

The same thing that has happened to you over there has happened to me. I had a serious issue with BetPhoenix and they would not let me post about it there. I actually spoke with Lou from Covers (different Lou from guy I told you to contact here obv) on the telephone and he flat out told me that there would be no forum without sponsors and that he could not allow me to post such a story about one of his sponsors. I asked him if I could make a post detailing my issue, and then have him (Lou from Covers) post in the thread and say that he looked into it and found BetPhoenix did nothing wrong. He wouldn't even go for that. He knew my story had the "ring of truth" to it and he would not allow me to post it. He has no integrity and will protect his income stream from his sponsors. I have no problem with websites advertising/being affiliates for online books, but a site which pretends to be an open forum should be an open forum.

So no, Covers will not let you air a dispute with one of their paying sponsors on their forum.

Ive been having a hard time with them as well. Requested a withdrawal a few weeks ago and I received an email shortly after saying that if I was to cancel my withdrawal they will credit me an extra 10%. Well,.I didnt do this,..but this was the FIRST time EVER..I have seen an email like this after I requested a withdrawal. Well,.they took a few days and I didnt get a confirmation email so I went onto their chat to discuss my account and find out whats going on. They told me same shit all these other shitty books tell you, "Processor delays". Such bullshit.
My personal opinion:
Sportsbook.com is going broke! Or,.they knew they would lose their asses on the Superbowl and started dodging their customers.
Either way,..After years with this book I might be done. Its been almost a week and still no confirmation regarding my withdrawal.
Hmmmm...somethings going on over there..

good memory my friend. Yes that was me. After 3 straight days of 5k , 5k and 5k withdrawal requests paid, they slowed me down and limited me to a weekly $790money gram. I lost a chunk back to them by the time SBR stepped in and got the issue resolved

So while BETUS was pretty shady with that, SportsBook.com has taken it to a whole other level by just flat out disabling my account. Hopefully SBR has some pull with them too.

It varies, probably depending on which SBR mod/employee is allocated to handle the complaint. I had a slow pay complaint last fall, which I managed to get resolved myself. I received no reply at all from SBR during the month after I'd finally complained and was still trying to get paid.

On the other hand, if you are totally innocent, and completely legit, then I hope you get every dime and out Sportsbook as the cheats that they are, along with Covers.

Thanks man. There's no reason for them to have done that to me so I have nothing to hide. Sportsbook asked for proof of my identity so I sent my driver's license, front and back of the Chase debit card used, my bank statement, and a utility statement, and now they say they are processing the documents, to give them 48-72 hours to review.... that was monday... and now tonight they say they need 72-96 hours to review and my account should be open in a day or so. That's what the rep said when I just called. So i'll keep you guys up to date.

UPDATE

So tonight I called and a rep told me they were still reviewing my documents (drivers license, front and back of DC, bank statement and utility statement) and I should have access to my account in 24-48 hours....

I got on chat anyways an hour later just to see if they have the same story, and this rep said they need 72-96 hours to finish reviewing my documents....

And now I just got on chat and talked to a new name, and now all of a sudden they basically said that my ip address is the same as accounts with chargebacks so until I go and find these people who did $800 in chargebacks with them, they will keep my account closed. I got them to confirm I have a $26,000 balance but the winnings will be forfeited unless I get the people who made $800 in chargebacks to pay sportsbook.com, and then I will have access to my account again and will have my winnings.... After back and forth numerous times of the rep saying I needed to get this Delgado guy and some girls name with Delgado last name too to contact sportsbook.com to pay their $800 debt I asked for them to just take it out of my winnings, even though I have nothing to do with them except the horrible luck of accessing my sportsbook.com account from a public wi fi signal to place the bet. I opened my account from home, but the next morning for superbowl I was out and used a public signal. Now I'm somehow responsible for people who also used that internet signal to screw sportsbook.com.... So anyone who signs up or accesses their account later at a library, or from starbucks, is pretty much screwed if anyone ever screwed a sportsbook from there? They said they won't take their $800 debt out of my winnings. I asked why is it my responsibility to go find this Delgago guy and make him pay his $800 debt and if I do then I'll get my balance and account back and I asked if I could just pay the $800 myself just to end this depressing heartache... I mean this is sickening to me, I was so excited, it was a lifechanging amount and I need this money for college, and this rep is telling me I got to go make this Delgado guy pay a debt of $800 from 2009 or else I can't have my account and winnings back... What should I do now? if they say yea pay the $800, should I believe they will give me my account and $26,000 balance back? Still waiting for SBR to get on this....

You knew this was coming, right? I'm pretty sure those reading along did.

In your first post, you said that SB told you that other people had used the same physical address as you (house number, street). Now you're saying that SB says that they used the same IP address as you. Which is it?

If it's physical address, then you've already disproved that, right?

If it's IP address, get the IP address they're talking about, and prove it's a public wifi spot, and not your home IP, which only you and nobody else has used to access SB. Then you should get your funds.

The problem for you is that these family member / previous resident ********** cases are quite common, and more often than not the player is the stiff, not the book. Good luck proving that's not the case here.

EXACTLY which is it!?!?!? Until tonight, they only said my address was the same as on file with inactive accounts. Wasn't even told those inactive accounts had chargebacks until now. And then they said IP address so I don't know if they are just clarifying or changing their story. . .So I just got back on chat again and argued to no avail. They are now saying BOTH the billing address and IP address is the same as inactive accounts. I cant believe it. It's sure a nice way for me to look bad because they know I'm going to post this chat transcript so they are going to completely make up stuff now. There is NO WAY there are inactive accounts with MY billing address because wouldn't that mean cards would have had to have come in the mail in these other person's names to MY address for it to be the billing address? And that simply has not happened in the 18 years my family has lived here. Here is the transcript from the chat just now, and they are just lying out their teeth with saying the billing address is the same. I challenged to prove it, show me the records of these people's accounts, but they said they protect customer's records and won't show me but they kept saying the billing address is the same. They are lying, completely lying and now I know I'll never be paid if they just make things up like this to cover their ass. Does any of this make sense???? Look at this transcript, its outrageous, how is this reasonable? They want $800 but they want it from this Delgado, not me. So another lie because they have no intention to pay me huh, if they did why not just take it out of my winnings since I'm willing to just settle this, they insist on having me find the other account holders and get them to contact sportsbook.com to pay what I just offered to pay for them... This whole conversation was strange, and I knew I was dealing with a lie as soon as they said my billing address has been used before. I can guarantee it hasn't, and if anyone has a suggestion how I can prove this, please tell me. Sportsbook.com knows that whoever these other peoples accounts were did NOT use my billing, unless I'm mistaken and people can have a billing address for a card without having it delivered to that address. This would be one enormous coincidence that I wouldn't expect anyone to believe if I didn't have a mailbox key and know for a fact that no one has used my billing address for their cards before - if in fact for a billing address it has to be the address it was mailed to, you can't just make up a billing address without proof of you living there....

Bottom line SportsBook.com has shot themselves in the foot by claiming people have used my billing address for their deposits that they then chargebacked... They can't back away from their statements, so now how do I go about proving they are lying? Am I right that in order to have a billing address for a card, you have to have mailed that card to that address? You cant just update card info by giving some arbitrary address for your new billing address can you??? If my assumption is right, then they are without a doubt 100% for sure making this up about someone else using my billing address before, and they have those 3 accounts records but won't show me them, can SBR get them? I have caught them in a lie if they can be forced to turn over the accounts that they say have my billing address because I'm 99.999999% sure that they are lying about that unless people can just arbitrarily change their billing addresses for cards without some sort of verification that that is indeed their address they live at.... We have a key for our mailbox, no one snuck cards in the mail and stole them and activated them in their names and used them on this site, and my parents certainly don't gamble.

If it's IP address, get the IP address they're talking about, and prove it's a public wifi spot, and not your home IP, which only you and nobody else has used to access SB. Then you should get your funds.

The problem for you is that these family member / previous resident ********** cases are quite common, and more often than not the player is the stiff, not the book. Good luck proving that's not the case here.

I have never filed a ********** in my entire life. Is there a service that can prove that I never have??? Would credit reports show people's chargebacks?? Because don't they go to collections???? Sportsbook.com says this $800 owed is from 2009, it would be in collections by now. I can guarantee I've never done a ********** in my life, where can I go to prove this with documents???? Some website I can plug my name and social into and prove this? Sportsbook.com acknowledges that the other accounts are someone elses name, not mine, so why am I being held responsible for them just because one of my logins was from a public signal that others can use too???? Their billing address claim is total BS, it has to be, unless people can make their billing addresses whatever they want and this guy happened to somehow choose mine randomly, and now I come along and sign up? uh uh, no way I don't think so. So sportsbook.com is making this up... I have never done a ********** in my life, and my credit report is completely clear, not 1 cent of debt, so where do I go from here?????? I have updated my billing/mailing address twice with my bank in the last year (because I moved twice), and neither time have they sought any verification, so it may be plausible that somebody set up a CC at one address and changed it to yours, though extremely unlikely.

I wonder why they even returned your deposits if they think you scammed them. I mean, the other guy made a ********** of 800 and you deposited 1000. if they really believe that the two of you are the same person then they would give you back 0,00 or 200 US$. I think that SBR should take a look at all of this as it seems fishy at least

Exactly huh! That's a great point I hadn't thought of.... Exactly, the "options" they gave me are completely unreasonable. They supposedly refunded me my $1,000 deposit (my bank balance still is without that amount) and they want me to track down this account holder from 2009 to get them to contact Sportsbook.com to pay $800. Where's the logic in that? If I'm such a scammer or the culprit like they extremely imply throughout the chat, then why refund my $1000? And still continue to insist that if I get $800 paid they are going to give me access back? And to add to the nonsense the rep says I would just send the $1000 back to them when they restore my account and the winnings????? WTF????? He said "We will also ask you to send us back the money we sent you back."....So they supposedly refunded my $1000 deposit, and then I'm supposed to pay them $800 to pay the debt that I have become linked to, and then they say they will restore my account and winnings....

I think they are just shooting themselves in the foot left and right. I bet there isn't a $1,000 refund is coming to the bank, they just want me to think that, and then they are going to have me send them $800 just so they can scam me out of $1,800 on top of the $26,000 winnings they have voided as of now. Just because they are bankrupt? They are lying about my billing address being the same as this account from 2009 - I want them to prove it and if they do I would have to admit that is extremely non believable and I would give up in defeat of knowing I won't be believed and to chalk it up to extremely bad luck that I had some POS use my billing address for a charge they later didn't pay , and then I came along and signed up - at a $26,000 expense to me.

I'm Daniel and no one else. Whoever the hell did chargebacks with those other names was not me, and I don't know how to get a card in other people's names, is that even possible? My credit report is completely clear of debts, it is absolutely blank, I've never had a card until this Chase Debit Card that is attached to my checkings account.

If SBG can ask them to prove the other accounts billing address with records, then this would prove they are lying and are just out to stiff me.... The IP address being similar I will acknowledge as possible.... The one I signed up with is from my home here which is a secured signal and is absolutely not linked to any other account, but then the next morning I was at my friends and a starbucks and both times I accessed my sportsbook.com account from public or unsecured signals to place the bets and to check the scores of my parlays.... What a tough lesson to learn that your going to be stuck with someone else's BS if you use a online sportsbook from a signal other then your own private secured one from home....

Anyone know if SBR's phone # works? 830-515-4122 is listed on the complaint form if you want to call them, but it rings and rings and then gives busy signals the few times I've tried...
