I believe big0mar is right on with his assessment. I'll be shocked if Justin7 comes back to say that this was a legitimate claim by the player.

newbie deposits $1000 and immediately makes parlays for thousands of $$$, then admits to having "partner's", then admits having similar problems before.Comment -
#144This kid deserves to get stiffed/called out for not being able to shut his mouth!!! Such a moron!Comment -
#145I have had recent issue with SB.com as well... I am not sure what to make of the OP but I have hit a few rather large long shot parlays with SB in the past and got paid.... eventually... I will be the first to admit that they will look hard for a reason not to pay you which is why bigger withdrawals take more time...
Use bookmaker...Comment -

#147I'd like to see the kid get paid bc I always root for the player in these situations (what can I say I'm a gambler myself and I wouldnt want to get stiffed). I will say though with chargebacks attributed to his IP and billing address and his ********** betting style I would be surprised if he gets paid.Comment -
#148These type of threads are always very entertaining. My final assessment is I would not trust the OP, nor the Sportsbook as far as I could throw them. Both wreak of dishonesty.Comment -

There really are some haters on here. If they didn't win they want everyone to lose with them, but thanks to the majority who are sending good vibes & support.
I find it very strange that I'm being told to stop posting & that coming to the forums can only hurt - THEN my thread gets exploited on the homepage anyways with excerpts of what I'm saying featured in the report. Like what happened to keeping this low profile while SBR goes to work? They make it front page and link this thread and feature my comments in block shading! Seems completely contradictory on SBR's part, and any purpose in not posting is defeated. So you guys say what your going to say, there are 5 facts here) I made a successful $1000 deposit. 2) I won $26,000 in parlays 3) There isn't a previous account with my billing address 4) There isn't a previous account with the IP address I opened the account from which I can say with certainty because it was my home and we have a secured signal 5) but there might me a similarity in an IP address later on because I then accessed the account from unsecured public signals when I wasn't at home. That's the facts. End of story.
Its crazy that perception can take a life of it's own with ignorant uninformed comments poisoning the facts. Like this comment I'm responding to here, to the remark about avoiding IRS taxes? Why because I made an observation about how in Vegas you pay taxes, and online no one does, the same for ebay and amazon sales???? Nothing left to say here, the jokers clearly fail big time and the handling of this thread has been disappointing after I was told airing a complaint is not the best strategy, only for the complaint to end up being aired on the homepage with this thread attached.Last edited by danieltag33; 02-10-11, 05:00 PM.Comment -

Have them provide the cc info and address/ip info. I bet the chargebacks were done from your card.Comment -
#153covers.com promotes plenty of scummy books and deletes threads critical of their advertisers. They're about as bad as the RX on those matters.Comment -

#156I'm switching sides. Highly unlikely that somebody this careless with personal information could be that sharp with 7 team parlays.
I had not considered the possibility of groups of players playing all combinations of parlays across many books and charge back all but the winning parlays.Comment -

#159You keep ignoring the fact that these charge backs were reportedly done from an account using your address. I believe you have a history of taking shots and karma has had its day. Either that or your stupid gambling thousands of dollars to pay for college tuition. You're 18-19?
Have them provide the cc info and address/ip info. I bet the chargebacks were done from your card.Comment -
#160Yes you are supposed to report winnings, and earnings on Ebay. People do report these earnings. In Vegas they "Withhold" taxes on certain amounts. Smaller amounts they do not. Either way you are responsible to report and pay the taxes due. Do as you wish. If I won 25000 online and cashed you bet I would report it on my 1040. I would rather take the heat for online gambling ( which is not illegal as Ive heard) than tax evasion.
Give the kid his money. This thread was respectable and informative the first 3 pages, and is just an embarrassment now. Nothing can come from it, but clouding the facts like OP said.Comment -

Andd stop fukking sending stuff to sportsbook.com. They are not going to help. Stop emailing, calling, live chatting, everything. Let justin go through the proper channels. All you are doing is hurting your chances of them working with you.
Cliffs- STOP FUKKING POSTING ABOUT THIS UNTIL JUSTIN/LOU/OTHER MOD SAYS ITS OKAY TO
I hope this gets resolved for you, I really doComment -

#164Since you speak the truth, you won't mind questions. Right?
No I'm not ignoring anything, your ignoring that I am saying that NO charge backs were done from accounts using MY address. I find this so remotely coincidental that it's impossible.
Your ignoring that I'm challenging sportsbook.com to prove this with records of those 3 accounts, but they wouldn't show me anything. SBR will conclude that sportsbook.com can't show they were the same at all.
I don't know exactly what the deal is here, but I do know that you're not telling everything. You're involved in some sort of game or scheme.Last edited by Dark Horse; 02-10-11, 05:28 PM.Comment -
#165I would suspect that sending them the $800 would be admission of guilt on the charge backs, therefore giving their story credible evidence to forfeit all winnings. If you are indeed innocent of the accusation I would not send the $800. I am also confused on the IP issue. Unless you have a static Ip at your home , which you would have to pay for, Ip addresses change all the time. It is ridiculous to associate an IP from a year ago to you. The address on the other hand is a dead give away.Comment -

yes i hate how people think IP address are this big thumbprint.. they aren't..
also ever heard of vidallia or any of the other programs out there that let you change it.. jeez..
the address is just fishy however..Comment -
#167I always like to give everyone benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. There are two scenarios unfolding, a legit player being worked over by a scam book or a fraud artist that has been caught by a scam book. Either way you slice it the OP is going to lose out. Whatever you do dont send them $800. Coming on here and posting all of your information doesnt do any good and for God's sake listen to the mods when they tell you to stop posting. Time will tell, but I put your odds of being given access to the $26K at 100-1 and the odds of seeing the $26K at 10,000-1. Good luck.Comment -

#169Is that you with the sunglasses in the facebook pic? Looks different than the pic here. Not questioning, just wondering..Anyway, you went about this the wrong way...You should have waited a few days before posting and gotten to know the forum here If I know the clientele here, you would have easily won them over by talking about your girlfriend, your workout routine, your life etc., with pix included, of course. You could have been the Rod of the West Coast...And then when you broached the subject of sportsbook.com you would have had a whirlwind of support.
Feel free to contact me. There will be a fee, but I think we still might be able to re-brand your image here.Comment -

#171I dont really know whether the poster is full of shit or just a guy that likes to bet parlays and got lucky. If sportsbook.com cannot show a ********** account with his billing address then they owe him 26k no doubtComment -
#172Do you have any offshore accounts in good standing that you lost at? If you can prove these, that surely would be a good first step? You said you do this a lot and you bet crazy parlays so I would think you would have a few accounts that love you - no?Comment -
#173i just wanted to say that i put the popcorn down when i actually started reading the thread. got to the bottom of of page 1 and my inner Hardy Boys is telling me OP is sketchy. going from:
--yeah i won 99k it was cool
to
--it's 23k, it's life changing money! i need it for college!
to
--cmon sportsbook i just want to be able to gamble it anyway
is pretty funny.
will report back after pages 2-5.Comment -

#175UPDATE
My $1,000 deposit has been refunded to my bank account balance today. Surprised to see it so quickly.
According to SportsBook.com now I pay $800 for someone's charge back from 2009, and then my account and winnings are restored. We are going to settle this real quick.Last edited by danieltag33; 02-10-11, 06:07 PM.Comment
