#2471 million % this is the case here. No way any random guy could have gotten the Delgado/Bartiromo story this soon.
Sportsbook went through this kids facebook friends and found some shady friend who did some fraud and they are running with this story IMOComment -
#248This could go down as the greatest thread in this sites history thoughComment -
#249Well, while it's still possible that Sportsbook.com made up the local fraud case out of whole cloth, it seems highly unlikely. If they were not certain that OP knew/was involved with this people, I highly doubt that they would release their names to OP. Telling someone "hey, you'll get your 25k if you make these deadbeats pay up" is a huge gamble.
What if OP was telling the truth, got a gun, and decided to make the people responsible for the chargebacks pay? Sportsbook.com and the whole internet Sports Betting industry would get annihilated!
I don't even think CyberSleuth is a sportsbook.com employee, they probably have accounts on here already. Probably a poster who didn't want to be suspected of being affiliated with the books so they made a gimmick acct.Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.Comment -
#250Yeah you guys are right, he was 100% involved with this Cole Bartiromo dude FOR SURE. I know now because i googled the Cole dude's name in google and got his twitter handle.
This is what Cole posted on Twitter yesterday:

So obviously this Cole dude is on SBR and is probably the person writing in Daniel's name or he is posting with Daniel, that's the only way he could have seen a post from SBR and put it on Twitter. So not 100% that this was part of a previous ********** case but he is for sure involved with a former Sportsbook crook who thought this was 100% foolproof method to risk nothing and possibly win bigComment -
#251very entertaining thread. best one ive read in yearsComment -

#255Okay as the OP requested, I will post what I found in just a brief investigation. When the OP first started posting, I felt a bit of compassion for him as I actually found this site because I wanted to post about a bad experience I had with SB.com. However, as I read his posts, I began to recognize things he was saying that were similar to a past criminal case that was in the media several years ago. I am also in SoCal. When he posted the name Cole Delgado, and his own address in SoCal I was pretty certain I knew who he was, especially when he mentioned that he went into the parlay bets with his buddies, and they split the winnings. Here's the story:
In 2004, a guy named Cole Bartiromo was arrested for running an illegal boomaking operation in Mission Viejo, CA with his buddies, all of whom were in High School. He was also charged with various stockmarket fraud schemes. He was recently released from federal prison. I found it quite coincidental that this group of HS guys lived in the same neighborhood as the OP. I also found it a coincidence that the OP's payout was being withheld due to a ********** involving a Cole Delgado.
The OP posted a link his Facebook page. Cole Bartiromo is on his friends list. By the way the OP did not message me(big surprise). I think he was using the forum to pressure SB.com to pay him. I will look in to a couple more things and post one more time. Of course, this could all just be a coincidence. It looks like SB.com got this one right.Comment -
#256one of my favorite threads in a while.. wow... WHATS NEXT!!!Comment -
#257First of all see my post on the other thread. http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...rating-p5.html
It is a fact that I am a fraud investigator and I found this site looking for information regarding other people that have been ripped off by SB.com. I am not a professional gambler though I have been much more involved with poker over the years. Someone who worked for SB.com certainly would not say they intend to put them out of business. I hope they never get another dime from anyone.
As I posted previously, I thought this complaint might have some legitimacy until I began to recognize some of things the OP was posting. Specifically, that he was in this with his buddies, they are HS aged, he needed money for college, then he posted his address, and then his FB page. Who would do that? I think it is someone who is attempting to prove a false identity. FB is the ideal site for identity theft (no, I dont work for My Space) I'm not going to go into detail about how this would have been accomplished because I don't want to give anyone any ideas. I will say this, Cole Bartiromo was reletively fresh in my mind because I came accross a story about him a couple of months ago, of all places, on the internet. I followed it a bit because I recalled the original story and found him posting schemes on other sites; looking for partners.
My original intent was to verify for this OP whether a Cole Delgado used his address, which he posted on a gaming discussion thread. Who would do that? The fact is, I found no record of Cole Delgado not only in Mission Viejo, but in the State of California, which is very unusual. It is also consistent with it being an assumed identity. Again, I won't go into how it could be done other than to say prepaid VC. I did verify the address for the OP which has been deleted. I also found several other individuals there with different surnames. That's a little odd considering the OP has lived there with his parents his whole life. I won't identify anyone.
If the OP is who he says he is, I would wonder how a teenager would be able to make such picks. In fact, I wish he would tell me. This reminds me of JJProdigy. How would he even know of this site? The Ops responses are very lucid, and articulate. They don't sound like they are being made by someone who is 18 years of age other than his readiness to provide identifying information on himself.
Based upon what I have found and comments others have made, I would say the OP is Cole Bartiromo or someone acting on his behalf. By the way I have a telephone number for the OP. I wonder if he is aware of any of this?Comment -
#258Just send me the 800 bucks and I promise I will then send you 25,500 dollars. Sound good?Comment -
#259this guy might be telling the truth...
new posters start with threads like this.... I can name a few... Ijustwantobepaid, etc.
They pay eventually, but bro sounds like you already owed them 800 bucks???
Sb.c may deactivate your account for no reason.... Not saying they ever did that to me, or restating that.
Uh, look before you dump 1000 bucks somewhere.
They paid me all my winnings though eventually with my situtaionblog '09-'10: 37-16: +$31,900
mlb 2010; 16-12: +$4,540
gellyhoops 2010: 10-6 +$3,150
overall: 63-34 +$40,290Comment -
#260I'm sorry, I don't see your point here. So these two guys have the same first name..."Cole"? What does Cole Bartiromo have to do with this other guy, Cole Delgado? What proof do you have that they are the same person other than they happen to have the same first name?? My first name is John. Therefore I killed Abraham Lincoln?
So yes there is about a .00000001% chance that this guy is just an innocent victim with bad gambling habits who just happens to know and live in the same area as a guy his age who is a known and convicted internet fraud who has a history of targeting online sportsbooks.
.00000001% chance I know what my money is onComment -
#261Yeah its possible that the OP just happens to be friends with a convicted internet scam artist who has already been busted once in a scheme to scam a british sportsbook through an employee at wells fargo. It is also possible that this guy would have an extremely bad habit of betting more than half of his deposit on longshot 7 team parlays and just happens to get lucky on these a lot since he has won $100,000 from BetUS previously.

#262Don't you think it's plausible that given how often that spider thing is forwarded around to various people and forums lately that he could have seen it somewhere else?? I mean, unless you yourself just posted that thing for the first time ever on the internet, I think you're grasping at straws here. OP could still be guilty, but you're certainly not offering any sort of ironclad proof. I mean, I heard someone say Al Gore invented the internet yesterday...does that mean that they read it on this board too?
Please, i was of the assumption that Sportsbook was making a case out of this air vs this kid but this story has changed bigtime and it doesn't take much for SB to see they are dealing with Cole hereComment -
#263i think all of you guys are missing the biggest point in this thread
COLE IS A SHARP AND IT WOULD BE GREAT IF HE POSTED HIS PICKS
that's all
Oh, and the OP is not Cole, he is too fackin retarded
