Question on multiple accounts - sportsbook.com
Ok guys, so a few years ago, I made an account with Sportsbook.com, made a few bets, no withdrawals, and didnt send them any documentation

Wasnt into gambling that much back then, so I didnt use the account for a while, and when I started really getting into gambling and wanted to start using sportsbook.com again, I couldnt remember my user info so I just made a new account. Same address, same name, same CC etc.

With this new account ive used for about 2 years ive wagered, deposited, and withdrew a lot of money, used it frequently. They never said anything about multiple accounts

I wasnt even aware of their multiple account policy but just noticed it and got kind of worried. Is it possible that they randomly find out that i have multiple accounts and one day said all your previous winnings are void and you owe us all the money you have ever withdrew?? Which would be a lot

Or would they just close both of my accounts??

Right now they both have a 0 balance.

I just want to make sure that one day their not going to say you owe us all past withdrawals, which i obviously wouldnt be able to pay

In theory you have done a wrong, but if it is true as you said that you did lose all your money with your first account then I am not sure that they would care. It would have been different if you had signed up, taken a 100% bonus, won a crapload of money, then signed up for a new account a few years later and take another 100% bonus.

I would just e-mail them and let them know what happened and you will probably be alright. They do not have the best reputation (and for good reason!), so maybe consider looking elsewhere no matter what their response is.

You should be okay as long as you are not using multiple accounts to go over their limits.

I have already moved on to 5dimes (dont plan on betting with sportsbook anymore)

I could care less if they close the accounts, I just wana know if its possible for them to say I owe them everything ive ever withdrew. Im assuming all they can do is take the money currently in your account and close it, not go back and make you pay them what youve taken out in the past.

Just want to get verification on this

        thanks guys!

I would guess it's theoretically possible for them to say you owe everything you've ever won on your new account. But an offshore book can't pursue an American for debt.

Did they impose any limits on your first account, or time delays (not even sure if SB does time delays)?

If the 1st account had no limits, you didn't take new account bonuses on both, I can't see the problem. If you've withdrawn before with no problems on the second, they must have verified your ID. If they didn't see any issues at that stage, you really should be fine.

The only way to be 100% in the clear though, is to ask them, which, of course, carries a little risk. Withdraw first, and then get the first account shut down? Or just ignore it?

I did not take any bonuses on either account, and yes ive done MANY withdrawals over the past couple years with my current account.

Not sure if I want to ask them about this, just ignore it, or close both accounts seperately

Like I said im done betting with SB, only thing i was worried about was them saying I owe them everything, but if they cant pursue me for it then im not worried, i thought they could maybe have a collections agency come after me

Books only want to trouble you before you get your money, not after.

                figured that

and anyways, they obviously haven't noticed the multiple accounts because they have let me make a ton of withdrawals, so im guessing if I just go ahead and request both accounts to be closed myself theres no way they notice/care/do anything after they are closed

They are capable of fraud on the slimmest of pretenses. I wouldn't redeposit.

                      stop worrying
                      you have nothing to fear
especially if you don't go back there
if you want to go back, ask them about the issue before depositing

Just remember, don't signup to any new Jazette book if you didn't clear that issue. They could/will use this against you.

They will care and this gives them an out if you win big

Contact them and have the first account officially closed and send in ID for the second account and take care of the situation..Otherwise just use another book since any winnings you might have could easily be confiscated..Books don't take multiple accounts lightly..It's all stated in the small print

Also remember offshore books never bring anything up thats wrong with your account untill you want a payment

Exactly..You may want to go to live chat and see if they can find out your old acct number, and see what they recommend doing.

We have had several complaints where players opening accounts under different skins got mugged. This is even after full disclosure before opening accounts.
