I am becoming increasingly frustrated and angered while attempting to deal with the folks over at BetOnline. I have maintained my temper and have been civil throughout my negotiations, but it is so difficult to reason with imbeciles. For some reason, the staff at BetOnline does not seem to understand the concept of conversion rates between worldwide currencies. I recently moved to Spain, so obviously as part of the European Union, the local currency is the Euro. This isn't a problem for deposits since I simply ask W estern U nion to make the transfer payable in U.S. Dollars as requested by the sportsbooks.
I made my first deposit in Euros via W estern U nion to 5Dimes and the currency was converted over to US Dollars and my account was funded without a problem. However, when I tried to do the same with BetOnline, they did not credit my account in the correct amount. Instead, they credited my Euro deposit straight to USD for a 1:1 rate. My receipt from W estern U nion CLEARLY states the amount payable in USD, but for some reason they either picked up and/or credited the wrong amount. I have attempted to contact them several times, but they keep telling me that they are busy and they will get back to me within the hour and that I would have to contact W estern U nion. I already spoke with ** and they told me that the payee should have picked up the correct amount in USD. I know it's not a terribly long time, but it has been over a day, and I feel that is still too long. A deposit should be a quick, simple, painless endeavor, not an ordeal fought with the sportsbook.

_my BetOnline account is only credited $1000 USD
_I call BetOnline and they refuse to help me, saying that they "only picked up $1000 USD"
* I just called BetOnline again. When I gave them my account number and they realized it was me again, they hung up on me. Great Customer Service.
