Is there a sportsbook in Vegas where I can bet remotely?
OK I apologize in advance if my terminology is all wrong. I think I've been spoiled by having a sportsbook in my computer where my bets are just a mouse click away but I am going to Vegas this week on business so I am planning to bring a bankroll of $1,500 for College Hoops. But I like halftime lines as well as making last minute decision.

Do esany place in Vegas offer an "account" that I can put my money into and then just gamble from that account WITHOUT having to go up to the window for each and every game? In other words, is it possible to have the convenience of gambling from my hotel room or computer (or cell phone) while I am physically in the hotel/casino?

Also, along the same lines, is it possible to place a bet at a casino while you are physically in the city of Las Vegas but necessarily at the actual casino? It seems to me that despite the fact that I'm actually going to be in Las Vegas that my online sportsbook is still the most convenient option.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry to be such a noob. :-(

BriGuy, a few casinos offer mobile sports betting where you can place sports wagers from a hand held device but you have to be on the property to use it.

Most LV sportsbooks offer betting from your computer (though its not actually betting through the internet) but you have to be a Nevada resident to open up an account and provide a Nevada address and NV identification.

That's cool and actually very much what I am looking for. :-) I found it quite ironic that I was going to be in Las Vegas but was considering just staying with my online book (bookmaker.com) since that is so darn easy and convenient.

      Thanks for your help!

I think Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo have hand held betting devices. They are Cantor gaming
