Either Li Na is going to put up a fierce fight or Serena is going to steamroll. I'm going with both u18 and o22

You might lose both of those.

Li Na likely makes one set competitive minimum. She usually does against Serena, one of the few who can say that.

You know what's crazy about these first set bets that are +350 or more? If the underdog stays close for a few games, like a 3 to 3 score, the odds of them winning increases. So plus +350 becomes +175. Which also means the odds on the favorite winning go down, producing a great hedging opportunity. I like this kind of bet better in the men's game, since most of them can hold serve, at least for a while. The match between Gascan and Nadal might be a place to try this. If gascan can hang with Nadal for a few games, then Nadal's odds should drop from -600 to -300 for the first set. And the longer Gascan hangs around the more favorable the hedge becomes.

Ive made a killing doing this. The only one i messed up was the murray match. Im not sure how gasguet will fair. Nadal looked incredible the other night. He probably would have bagled djoker with that performance

Matt, do you do this just with the first set or the later ones as well? Also, once you take a player for the do you then hedge if the odds become favorable? One last thought, this strategy probably works better with an underdog than a favorite, since you don't have to invest as much?

Anybody play competitively? when your playing in a big moment it takes time to forget about the stage and play tennis.Thats why tennis a huge mental sport.. Once 2 set start NA LI was playing loose.. She already felt that she lost the match and decided to smash the ball.. Which she ended up playing much better...

I know am stating the obvious- Just fascinated how well Serena Williams plays in those big moments
