    Heritage retirement question
Hi I had a ML wager on carballes baena to win match vs jahn. Jahn was winner of the first set and then retired in the 2nd set. Wager was graded a loss. Contacted support and they said it was correct. Shouldn't this bet be a winner? I thought first set must be completed for the ML to have action and since baena technically won since jahn retired it should be a win? I had this happen a couple of times at 5 dimes and always the winner was the guy who didn't retire regardless of 1st set winner. Is his different at heritage?

No, they're completely wrong and seemingly trying to pull one over on you. I use both 5Dimes and Heritage, and they both have the same rules regarding retirements in tennis - doesn't matter if it's ATP/WTA, Challenger, or ITF - if the first set is completed then all ML wagers have action. In this case, since Jahn retired then the Carballes Baena ML wager is indeed a winner, regardless of who won the first set. I'd inquire again and copy/paste from their rules, and ask for a supervisor if they try telling you the same thing. Surely they'll realize their mistake and correct everything promptly for you!

It sounds like you are correct.

I'd send them an email and try explaining again (rather than live chat) but if you can't get it sorted out just send in your account details on this form and SBR will be able to help: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbook-complaint/

Thanks guys it was corrected. Live chat operator was wrong in the end but pretty adamant about it being a loss on the chat which got me wondering if they had some random rule I wasn't aware of. Was corrected shortly after I sent an email. Thanks

First level customer support hear so many people incorrectly claiming gradings are wrong that they tend to assume you are wrong as default sometimes.

Glad to hear they corrected it fast at least.
