Medvedev v Zverev - IN PLAY THREAD
For those of you who are up - or have the luxury not to be sitting here at 430am EST - lets get a conversation going.

Medvedev hottest player on tour this year. Zverev playing the best Ive seen him play all year right now.

This will be a match for the ages (or so I hope). Djoker and Fed both knocked out, one will take home the coveted ATP 1000 Shanghai.

    Who do you have?

Me personally - Medvedev. BUT, lopsided H2Hs like these dont lie with Zverev having a 4-0 record vs Medvedev, only one of the 4 not being in straight sets.

I find that super interesting and will be fading myself in that regard.

The match should go the distance, but with the strong H2H I just cant ignore this moment as a time to fade myself.

Playing $3k large on Zverev to win the first set at +125 odds.

BOL to you all, hope we get some chatter in here.

Classic choke by Zverev. Served perfectly in QT and Semis and can't land a first serve in finals.

The classic fade that bites you in the ass. Oh well, stupid money. Medvedev probably wins in straights tbh.

BOL to you all, Im going to bed haha.

I should have known better. Really thought this fade was going to work out.

Well Im back, that was quick. Its amazing how emotionless Medvedev is.

I cant remember their matches of the past, but could Zverev be Medvedev's kryptonite? The "rivalry" - if there is one between the two? - would really shake up if you see a 5-0 record on Zverev's side.

Frankly, its quite fascinating to see how well Zverev returns Med's serves. Havent seen someone do this for the past 8 months.

Do we have a chance? (speaking to Zverev backers)

Cant believe I just lost 3k on two back to back double faults. Wow. Never backing Zverev again. The fade did not work out, jesus that was brutal.

I had Zverev 1st set and ML. I thought he'd serve as well as he did in previous rounds, boy was i wrong. Choker.

Absolute bloodbathe. Nothing worst than fading yourself to lose money on a pick you weren't going to take. I don't think I can fade myself any longer. I was having an amazing week so no need to. The swing of money that could have been made sickens me. Was eyeing that Medvedev in straights line more than anything. Ouch.

Maybe a slam for Medvedev next year, but not sure there will be value on the outright markets.
