Still up for an Aussie Open Contest?

There is still massive debate here in Melb about whether this should still go on and the Tennis Aus officials are now ducking and weaving as the community is overwhelmingly calling for these players to go home after we've gone through the hardest and toughest lockdown of anywhere in the world.

I'm still waiting for them to cancel the tourney but if they don't i'll put up the contest threads on Thursday with the proviso it may still be tossed. Be careful who you back based on their current quarantine status!

Would like to have a conversation about this situation...While I am no fan of entitled or privileged athletes, I think some of their complaints are pretty valid. And to compare a tennis player who came over to play in a match to entertain the masses and add to the prestige of a given city or country to an average person, who has 'it worse' by some metrics, is not exactly fair...
