2021 US Open Men's Round One Breakdown
Hey. I'm a bit of a lurker here but I write breakdowns for every single match in all the majors, so if you're looking for some additional info, feel free to read it at the link below. The site also hosts free bracket contests and odds competitions if that interests you. I won't spam this forum too much but every round of the ATP and WTA will be posted on the site (ATP just went up and WTA will be up tomorrow) so feel free to check it out. I try not to discuss gambling too much in the articles (because they're geared towards a wide audience) but I am a fulltime tennis bettor so there is likely some information in there that may be useful to improving your process.

Tennisssssssssss. The US Open is here and there is a ton of wonderful drama and mischief and even some Gulbis. I apologize for missing Wimbledon I was moving/doing some monk shit but I’m back connected to the internets now : ). The WTA will go up tomorrow afternoon and as usual, come check out the bracket contests DC hosts and come try to beat me in the odds competiton (j/k pls let me win ) ATP Bracket Contest WTA Bracket Contest Odds Comp

Disclaimer : I am not a tout. Those services do not work. I am, however, one of the more knowledgeable tennis writers and have an extensive background in the gambling industry, so I thought the writeup might be of use/interest.

Nice info, definitely worth a read.

I follow the women much more closely so I’ll check your write ups on them when they’re available.

I’ll help you out with Riffice. He upset the #1 seed JJ Wolf in the 2019 NCAA tournament before bowing out in a future round. I believe he was a freshman that year. He won the 2021 NCAA tournament, winning several 3 set matches along the way. And that was immediately after his team (Florida Gators) won the NCAA tournament, so he played a ton of matches over that 2 week period. He’s got a big serve, at least at the college level, with some variety to his game. As with most men, his forehand is his stronger side. Hard to imagine him pushing Grigor, but if conditions are hot and humid, I’d side with the young legs with the 8 game spread.

      Good writeups.

      Agree with many.

Don't see Paire losing to Lajovic. Looks primed for a solid run here.

These write-ups have been a lot of fun to read all tournament, and have been surprisingly accurate.
Keep 'em coming, for all the majors please!
