Companies Line Up for Las Vegas Grand Prix Partnerships
Formula 1 has returned to Las Vegas for a second straight year. It's a big deal for our best sports betting sites, and it's a big deal for companies associated with the event.
Ahead of the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, several companies have competed to become official event sponsors, including Las Vegas Strip casino operators crucial to ensuring the race goes smoothly. The race will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23, with lights out at 23:00 local time.
The first Las Vegas Grand Prix was held in 2023 and attracted 315,000 people to the Las Vegas Strip. The race is on a street circuit, which includes driving on the Las Vegas Strip and past famous landmarks like The Sphere.
Chief Commercial Officer of Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc., Emily Prazer, said, “We have strengthened many of the relationships we had last year. Interestingly, the teams have gathered much stronger relationships with the partners in this market. We have been looking at how we impact this ecosystem.”
MGM Resorts brings back the Fountain Club
The Bellagio is one of the Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit casinos. MGM Resorts owns and operates it and The Cosmopolitan, ARIA, and MGM Grand. It also operates the BetMGM Sportsbook.
The Bellagio is bringing back its Bellagio Fountain Club VIP event, providing visitors with various events and hospitality options, including views of the Bellagio Fountains and the track. The drivers that finish on the podium will also head into the Bellagio Fountain Club for post-race interviews. According to MGM Resorts International’s VP of Citywide Events Strategy, Andrew Lanzino, the Fountain Club will be “more elevated than ever.”
He commented, “One of the exciting additions is our ‘Fountain Walk,’ a partnership with Marriott, which will feature activations, interactive activities, and surprise elements for race fans to enjoy throughout event weekend. The building process has been a coordinated effort to seamlessly blend the elegance of Bellagio’s iconic Fountains with the excitement of F1, creating a venue that’s both luxurious and engaging.”
It's an exciting time for the company behind a top Nevada sportsbook promo.
