It's a big move from an operator trying to become one of the nation's best sportsbooks.

PENN Entertainment, owner of the ESPN-branded sportsbook ESPN BET, announced that it was teaming up with the PGA Tour to launch a live betting streaming service on ESPN+.

The stream will provide users with key data, insights, and live betting analysis during all FedEx Cup events during the 2025 PGA Tour season, which began on Thursday.

ESPN BET and PGA Tour Live will premiere on February 6 at the WM Phoenix Open on ESPN+. Fans will have access to live coverage with a betting perspective provided by host Jonathon Coachman, on-course reporter Michael Collins, and analysts Matt Every and Graham DeLaet.

ESPN BET expands official sports partnership

The beginning of ESPN BET’s partnership with the PGA Tour can be linked to May 2024, when it was announced that PGA was partnering with PENN Interactive in a multi-year sports betting deal.

The collaboration was momentous for the PGA Championship, the first men’s golf major to establish an official sports betting sponsor.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with PENN Entertainment and immerse ESPN BET into the spectator experience throughout the PGA Championship,” said Jeff Price, Chief Commercial Officer of PGA America.

ESPN expands its branded sportsbooks

ESPN BET is on a roll with promoting its sportsbook platform. At the beginning of the new year, ESPN announced the opening of ten additional sportsbooks throughout the US, increasing its total number of branded sportsbooks to 19.
