FanDuel is amplifying its visibility at the 151st Kentucky Derby by offering a combined wagering experience and enhanced event coverage to horse racing fans. The sportsbook has added new wagering options for the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks, and all races throughout Derby Week.

The 2025 Kentucky Derby marks yet another year in which FanDuel has been offering a simplified betting experience by combining traditional sports betting and horse racing on a single platform. For over two years, FanDuel has made this possible by allowing customers to bet with a single account and wallet for both types of wagers, making it one of the top Kentucky Derby betting sites.

To attract new customers, FanDuel is offering a $500 No Sweat First Bet. If a customer's first bet loses, they will receive up to $500 in racing bonus credit. Existing customers are not excluded, either, as they automatically receive a No Sweat Win Bet for the Derby, eliminating risk while encouraging heightened participation during the event. You don't even need a FanDuel promo code to take advantage of the sportsbook's offerings.

“The Kentucky Derby is one of the most historic sporting events in the world, and FanDuel is honored to be a part of it once again,” said Andrew Moore, General Manager of Racing at FanDuel. “We’re proud to be the first sportsbook that gives fans the ability to bet on sports and horse racing from a single platform, and we’re excited to use that access to bring new energy and excitement to racing’s biggest day.”

FanDuel TV, the company's exclusive broadcast network, will provide extensive live coverage of the Kentucky Derby from Churchill Downs. The network will provide round-the-clock coverage of the entire Derby Week, featuring expert commentary, analysis, and more.

FanDuel TV+ to broadcast some races

Some notable analysts and personalities include Christina Blacker, Gabby Gaudet, Michael Joyce, and Todd Schrupp. Live racing coverage will be available through FanDuel TV and FanDuel TV+, except for races held exclusively by NBC.

Michael Shiffman, SVP of FanDuel TV, described the Derby as a sports cultural institution. He highlighted the network's focus on bringing fans in-depth and diverse perspectives on the event, aimed at enriching the fan experience above what customary broadcasts typically provide.

In addition, Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Kay Adams will host a live version of her show Up & Adams from Churchill Downs on May 2. The show will be streamed exclusively on YouTube between noon and 2 p.m. ET and will feature celebrity guest appearances and exclusive Derby footage.

FanDuel hosted its second-annual Kentucky Derby Party at Louisville's Old Forester's Paristown Hall on that evening. The event will feature a blue carpet reception and a headlining appearance by country artist Shaboozey.

FanDuel's Derby promotions are ongoing, continuing a rich history of campaigns designed to increase user engagement and fan turnout. Previous years have seen the launch of some of FanDuel's projects, including the "$20 Risk-Free Bet" on major races such as the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. Every year, more bettors learn how to bet on horse racing at our best horse racing betting sites.

The firm has also run loyalty-based promotions, offering existing users extra bets for repeat use during the Triple Crown season. The "Derby Million Dollar Bet" promotion was also a hit concept, a sweepstakes-style promotion in which bettors could win as much as $1 million by successfully selecting the Derby trifecta.
