Florida Non-Tribal Casinos Generate $58.1 Million in December Slot Revenue

The Sunshine State may not have access to our best sports betting sites, but its gambling industry is still alive and well.  

The Florida Gaming Control Commission has announced its casino slot revenue for December 2024, with a statewide total of $58.1 million. That’s a monthly revenue increase of 2.98%, as slots generated $56.4 million in November.

Of the eight non-tribal casinos, the top two slot revenue generators in December were Magic City Casino, with a net slot revenue of just over $11.1 million, and Pompano Park, with $11 million. 

Hialeah Park Casino, Calder Race Course, and Casino Miami all made between $7 and $8 million ($8 million, $7.7 million, and $7.3 million, respectively), while the remaining three made $4.9 million (Gulfstream Park), $4.2 million (Park Casino), and $3.6 million (Big Easy Casino).

Gulfstream Park leads increases

Compared to November 2024, most casinos reported increased revenues in December. Gulfstream Park and Big Easy Casino stand out with their 21.36% and 10.89% increases, while Pompano Park comes third with a reported increase of 8.73%.

The only casinos to see a fall in slot revenue were Casino Miami, where revenues fell by under 2% month-on-month, and Hialeah Park Casino, with revenues slipping by almost 9%.

Slight Revenue Decrease Year-on-Year

State-wide slot revenues fell by just 0.17% year over year. Last December, operators collected $58.2 million in revenue, compared to $58.1 million in December 2024.

Compared to last year, only three of the casinos reported an increase in revenue: Big Easy Casino, with an increase of 17.09%; Magic City Casino, with an increase of 5.95%; and Dania Entertainment, with an increase of 7.29%.
