Patrick Reed Withdraws From RBC Canadian Open

Patrick Reed has withdrawn from this week’s RBC Canadian Open and will be replaced in the field by Parker McLachlin.
Reed is a 31-year-old American golfer from San Antonio, Texas who has made 14 of 19 cuts on the PGA Tour this season, with three finishes in the Top 25 and two in the Top 10. His best finish this season was a tie for second place at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship last October.

Reed has nine tournament victories in his career, including the 2018 Masters. His most recent victory was at The Farmers Insurance Open in January of 2021.
McLachlin has appeared in four PGA tournaments this season. He has one career win back in 2008
