Colorado vs. Oregon Player Props, Odds Week 4: Can Nix Take Advantage of Buffs' Secondary?

Our Colorado-Oregon college football player props with predictions are based on the best college football odds, and we reach beyond Shedeur Sanders to find the best value in this marquee matchup.
While Shedeur Sanders player props are sure to be all the rage this weekend, we found several other player props containing strong value in the highly-anticipated matchup between Colorado and Oregon.
How will Bo Nix fare against a secondary missing Travis Hunter? Can the Buffaloes’ running game get things going despite a potentially negative game script?
Here are our best college football player props and predictions for the Colorado vs. Oregon Week 4 matchup (odds via our best college football betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Colorado vs. Oregon player props
Bo Nix Over 312.5 passing yards (-104 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Colorado will miss Travis Hunter on both sides of the ball, but I predict it’s his absence defensively that will be more noticeable as Bo Nix looks to attack the Colorado secondary. While the Buffs largely held Colorado State in check on the ground, Rams quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi slung it for 367 passing yards in a game Hunter left due to injury.

While Oregon should look to run the ball plenty based on the anticipated game script (the Ducks are 21-point favorites), Nix’s advantage through the air is the way Oregon plausibly builds a potential lead. In Oregon’s one competitive game thus far, Nix cleared this line by a few dozen yards at Texas Tech.
However, our Shane Jackson made the case for taking the Under on Nix’s passing yardage prop for his top Colorado vs. Oregon prediction.
Avoid FanDuel and BetMGM for this Over, as both books list Nix’s passing line at 316.5 yards. DraftKings and bet365 are acceptable options, but their 312.5-yard listing comes with worse odds compared to the -104 at Caesars.
Dylan Edwards Over 35.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Although it’s generally risky business to stand behind a running back’s volume in a game where his team enters as three-touchdown underdogs, Colorado rusher Dylan Edwards is too talented of a player to have his yardage prop as low as it sits across our best sports betting apps.
Edwards has commanded the bulk of the RB touches for the Buffaloes, averaging 7.3 totes per game with a 5.4 YPC on the year. Although Colorado trailing by multiple touchdowns could force the offense into air-raid mode early, Edwards’ big-play ability shouldn’t be entirely thrown out of the playbook regardless of the score.
The talented freshman has cleared this mark in consecutive games. Bet his line at FanDuel for the best odds (-114). Most of our best sports betting sites have this prop at a comparable -115, but avoid betting the -120 odds on this line at DraftKings.
Xavier Weaver anytime touchdown scorer (+125 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐
Xavier Weaver has been Sanders’ most prolific receiving weapon to this point in Colorado’s season, racking up 386 receiving yards across the team’s first three games. He’s been consistently involved in the offense, clearing the 89.5 receiving yards prop at FanDuel in each contest.
While Weaver likely has another quality shot at clearing that yardage prop with Travis Hunter absent from the lineup, I’m considering the value on Weaver’s touchdown prop given the robust +125 odds at BetMGM. Weaver has scored touchdowns in two of three games, and at hefty plus-money, his target volume makes him an excellent value to score.
Weaver’s +120 odds at bet365 are also worth pursuing, but avoid the hefty prices on this prop at DraftKings (-105) and FanDuel (-125).
Elsewhere, Philip Wood is examining a Shedeur Sanders touchdown prop and even juicier plus odds. For more, check out our college football Week 4 predictions.
