The Colorado Buffaloes will take their show on the road for their first conference road game when they face the UCF Knights on Saturday.

Colorado passed the first test of its Big 12 reunion, earning an overtime win over Baylor last weekend. However, UCF presents an entirely different challenge, as it is listed as a two-touchdown favorite among our best sports betting sites. I discussed how formidable of a foe the Knights would be in my Colorado vs. UCF early picks.

Our Colorado vs. UCF player props assess whether the Buffs can rise to the challenge again as part of our Week 5 college football predictions.

Colorado vs. UCF touchdown pick

Travis Hunter anytime touchdown (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

How could we go with anyone else for our touchdown pick?

Hunter is having an incredible season as a two-way superstar for Colorado. He’s established himself as a legitimate Heisman Trophy odds contender this year, recording 472 yards on 37 catches as a receiver to go along with 14 tackles and two takeaways as a defensive back.

Hunter has scored five times through four games but didn’t find the end zone against Baylor last weekend. This -110 value is too tempting for Hunter to score this week, especially with DraftKings charging as much as -170 for the same prop.

Best Colorado vs. UCF prop bets

Travis Hunter long reception Over 29.5 (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m interested in a receptions prop for Hunter if our best sports betting apps release that market, but this line is worth grabbing ahead of kickoff.

This same prop was trading as high as 30.5 two weeks ago, and Hunter recorded a 46-yard catch against Baylor. He has cleared this mark twice through four weeks after doing so in six of his nine games last season.

Even with Hurricane Helene looming this week, Colorado is a big-play offense. Bet on the Buffs’ best player to record an explosive play to cash his lowest such prop line this year.

KJ Jefferson Over 42.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jefferson is the perfect quarterback in Gus Malzahn’s system at UCF. Jefferson can make things happen as a runner, recording 136 yards on 29 attempts through three games.

I expect UCF to fully unleash Jefferson’s legs throughout conference play, starting with this matchup. Colorado is surrendering an average of four yards per rush this year, so Jefferson likely just needs 11 or 12 attempts to clear this line.

Thanks to a projection of 60 yards, there is plenty of value in this Over at FanDuel. The only reason why this pick is four stars is because sacks count as negative rushing yards in college football.
