Michigan vs. Ohio State Player Prop Bet Odds & Touchdown Picks: Trust Howard in 'The Game'

The Ohio State Buckeyes (10-1) have revenge on their minds when they welcome the Michigan Wolverines (6-5) for “The Game” at noon ET (FOX) on Saturday in the Ohio Stadium.
Michigan has won the past three rivalry matchups, preventing Ohio State from reaching the Big Ten championship. The Buckeyes need a win this weekend as 20.5-point favorites to avenge those defeats and punch their ticket to the conference title game.

Best Michigan vs. Ohio State prop bets
Will Howard Over 1.5 touchdown passes (-162) ⭐⭐⭐
We recommended a plus-money price on Will Howard to throw three touchdown passes for his Michigan vs. Ohio State prediction, but I don’t mind paying the vig at FanDuel for Over 1.5. Based on my projection, there is a solid edge to this prop.
Howard has thrown for multiple touchdowns in nine straight games and 10 of his 11 contests this season. A 56-0 win over Western Michigan was the only time that Howard didn’t record multiple passing touchdowns this year.
Michigan’s defense ranks 83rd in pass success rate, suggesting that’s the path to a comfortable victory for Ohio State.
Best odds: -162 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 61.83%
Carnell Tate Under 51.5 receiving yards (-117) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
While I believe Howard will have a solid day through the air, I’m willing to fade Ohio State’s No. 3 receiver in this rivalry matchup.
Tate has cleared this mark in three consecutive contests but hasn’t been much of a factor in Ohio State’s marquee matchups. He recorded 28 total yards against Oregon and Penn State.
I project Tate to finish well below this number and would be willing to bet it at 46.5 or better.
Best odds: -117 via Caesars | Implied probability: 53.92%

Kalel Mullings Under 48.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐
Michigan running back Kalel Mullings delivered 92 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries during last week’s win over Northwestern. But it’s worth noting that 47 of those yards came on a single play.
Before a matchup against the Wildcats, Mullings hadn’t cleared 30 rushing yards in three straight contests. He accumulated 64 yards on 31 attempts over that span.
I’m skeptical that Mullings will do much damage in a negative game script. I’d bet this down to 44.5.
Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%
