Our North Dakota State vs. Colorado parlay likes the chances for the Bison to make a run at an upset that would rock the college football predictions for Week 1.

Although it’s technically still an FCS program, and an FCS Championship odds contender at that, North Dakota State doesn’t operate like it.

That's why it's a surprise to see the Bison as double-digit underdogs across our college football betting sites.

Even so, many North Dakota State vs. Colorado predictions expect the Bison to be up to the task.

However, they'll need to slow the Buffaloes' star at QB that, who has many people backing the Shedeur Sanders player props.

But it could be the playmakers around Sanders, that we highlighted in our North Dakota State vs. Colorado player props, that make the difference.

Heading into Boulder on Thursday night, the Bison aren’t backing down from a College Football Playoff odds dark-horse.

SGP predictions for North Dakota State vs. Colorado

North Dakota State +9.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The value on this pick has increased in recent days as the line has moved to +9.5 after opening at +7.5. I like the Bison because of their ability to exploit Colorado on the ground.

North Dakota State’s pair of dual-threat QBs, Cam Miller and Cole Payton, will both see the field and give fits to a Colorado defense that ranked 102nd in run defense in FBS last season (176.4 yards per game).

Though the personnel has completely turned over, new defensive coordinator Robert Livingston may need time to build this defense from the ground up.

BetMGM hosts the most favorable odds for this pick, with the Bison +9.5 at -105, but the difference compared to DraftKings and FanDuel (-110) is minimal.

Shedeur Sanders Over 304.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

North Dakota State returns quite a bit of talent across its top-20 FCS scoring defense from a year ago, but it’s hard to envision slowing Shedeur Sanders entirely in this environment.

Before a difficult schedule chewed him up down the stretch last season, Sanders raced out to three straight passing performances clearing this line - hitting the Over in five of his first seven games.

Sanders was a more consistent passer in home games, averaging 336.5 passing yards per game and topping this line in four of six contests.

DraftKings offers 300-plus passing yards at -135. Our preference is to buy this prop to Over 304.5 yards at -114 at FanDuel for the odds boost, pending the value on the rest of our SGP.

Cam Miller anytime touchdown scorer (+158) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Both Bison QBs scored 13 touchdowns last season and either would be quality bets at plus-odds to run one in on Thursday night.

Against a Colorado run defense that has to prove it has improved from last year’s performance before I’m going to buy into it, I look for North Dakota State to lean heavily into its best traits offensively.

That’s Miller with the ball in his hands. He scored a rushing touchdown in 10 of 15 games last season.

We’re targeting FanDuel for this prop at +158 odds. Since FanDuel also offered our preferred odds on Sanders passing yards, that’s where we’ll play this SGP after odds shopping across our best sports betting sites.

A winning $10 wager on the SGP at FanDuel would net a profit of $56.50.
