Atlanta Drive GC needed just two matches to defeat New York Golf Club and claim the inaugural SoFi Cup after once being listed as a long shot by the TGL odds for the first season of the Tomorrow's Golf League.
The team of Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, and Lucas Glover prevailed in the TGL's championship series and claimed the SoFi Cup at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Here were the 24 members taking part in the TGL's first season. Competitors combined for 230 PGA Tour wins, 33 majors, and 834 weeks at No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) ahead of the season. Atlanta Drive GC - fronted by Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, and Lucas Glover were the winners of the SoFi Cup.

🤖 What is the TGL?
The TGL is a new tech-infused golf league that began in January 2025. Six teams of four represent six cities in the U.S., and those squads play a two-hour weekly competition on prime time out of SoFi Center on the campus of Palm Beach State College. Matches will air on ESPN and ESPN+.
Three members of each team will compete every week in a two-hour match played over 15 custom-designed holes.
Format & scoring
Weekly matches will be played as triples (3-on-3 match play) of alternate shot (nine holes), as well as one-on-one singles matches (six holes). Both formats follow modern match play scoring, with each hole worth one point. The team with the most points at the end of the night wins the match.
A match win in regulation as well as a win in overtime is worth two points. An overtime loss is worth one point, while a regulation loss is worth nothing, similar to the NHL.
Postseason format
The top four teams following the regular season advance to the playoffs. Those teams will square off in the single-elimination semifinals - Team 1 vs. Team 4 and Team 2 vs. Team 3. The two winning teams advance to the championship series, which will be played as a best of three to crown a champion.
