The 2024 MLB Rookie of the Year race is dominated by two teams in the American League.
Baltimore Orioles shortstop Jackson Holliday and outfielder Colton Cowser hope to follow in the footsteps of teammate Gunnar Henderson as the winner. However, Holliday, the No. 1 prospect in baseball, is back in the minors after a brief, disappointing stint with the big-league club. Cowser is a significant favorite, though.
Meanwhile, a pair of Texas Rangers studs who offer plenty of power and speed are chasing down Cowser. However, Wyatt Langford's hold on his status as the favorite is no more following a cold start to the campaign. He sits as the third-biggest favorite behind teammate Evan Carter.

AL Rookie of the Year odds analysis
May 2, 2024: Jackson Holliday is back in the minors, as it's his Baltimore Orioles teammate, Colton Cowser, who's truly arrived. Cowser has exploded onto the scene for the Orioles, and our best sports betting apps have priced him as the lone favorite.

NL Rookie of the Year odds analysis
May 2, 2024: Los Angeles Dodgers offseason addition Yoshinobu Yamamoto was the runaway favorite in this market for nearly a month, but he's now sharing that status at our sites with the best sportsbook promos.
Both Yamamoto and Imanaga have been outstanding this season, with the latter owning a truly absurd 0.78 ERA through six starts.
Chicago Cubs infielder Michael Busch has slipped a bit following a scorching-hot stretch, and he's now the third- or fourth-biggest favorite.
