⚾ Rafael Devers (Giants) to hit a home run ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +350 via FanDuel (bet $10 to win $35)

Devers no longer gets the benefit of playing in the more hitter-friendly Fenway Park with its laughably short walls and distances to fences, and bizarre dimensions.

But he didn't get the full benefit of that experience regardless as a lefty, and his rare power from that side can quickly cancel out any park concerns anyway. Expect to see plenty of splashdowns in McCovey Cove, and the matchup Devers faces tonight is an ideal immediate opportunity to make a quick impact.

Devers will face Slade Cecconi of the Cleveland Guardians to start off during his Giants debut, and the righty has been giving up repeated torpedoes. Cecconi missed time this season with a groin issue, and now over just 25 1/3 innings he's allowed six homers (2.1 HR/9). His average exit velocity allowed and expected slugging both sit in the bottom 2% of MLB, according to Baseball Savant.

Meanwhile, Devers' Savant page is an ocean of red, most notably a hard-hit percentage and barrel rate that both rest in the 95th percentile or higher. He's also hit 10 of his 15 home runs off righties.

Devers is tied with Oneil Cruz of the Pittsburgh Pirates among those getting the shortest odds to go deep at FanDuel today.
