Ohtani ranks third in baseball - and first in the NL - in home runs with 30 this season, though he's coming off a series against the Houston Astros during which he struggled at the plate. However, Ohtani has still mashed seven home runs across his last 101 at-bats spanning the past 30 days, which shows how hot he was before this blip.

I think Ohtani gets back on track tonight against the Brewers. Now, Freddy Peralta is certainly a very good pitcher and, sure, American Family Field is quite literally the least-friendly home run ballpark for lefties in baseball. However, these are the types of situations Ohtani thrives in.

When you think he's overmatched or struggling, that's exactly when he catches fire. Back the MLB MVP odds favorite to go yard after a rough series.
