Cardinals vs. Rockies MLB Picks: St. Louis Looks to Stay Hot in Colorado
The St. Louis Cardinals have won seven in a row after sweeping the New York Yankees. They'll look to stay hot tonight against a lackluster Rockies team in Colorado. Read on for our Cardinals-Rockies MLB picks.
The Cardinals are in the midst of a seven-game win streak and had a day off on Monday. They swept the Yankees over the weekend to improve to 60-48 on the year.
On the other side of the diamond, the Rockies have lost seven of their last nine games but are now returning home after an eight-game road swing. Colorado is 30-27 at home and 48-63 overall this season.
Here are my MLB picks and predictions for Tuesday's matchup between the Cardinals and Rockies (odds via BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, Unibet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Cardinals vs. Rockies Odds Analysis
The Cardinals have received a lot of the early action, but have moved from -190 at opening to as low as -165 (BetMGM). The Rockies are between +140 (BetMGM) and +150 (Unibet) after opening at +155.
It's a Coors Field game so the total is double digits. It's 11 across the board after opening at 11.5.
Cardinals vs. Rockies Projected Pitchers
Miles Mikolas (8-8, 2.92 ERA, 1.01 WHIP) vs. Ryan Feltner (1-3, 5.75 ERA, 1.45 WHIP)
Miles Mikolas is quietly putting together a great season for the Cardinals. St. Louis has won four of his last five starts with Mikolas going at least six innings with three earned runs or less in all four victories.
Ryan Feltner is getting another chance in the rotation due to an injury. The Rockies are 1-7 in his starts this season and he's averaged less than five innings per outing.

Cardinals vs. Rockies Moneyline Pick
Cardinals (-165)
The only thing giving me any pause here is the Coors factor, but the Cardinals should be able to easily overcome it - especially with Nolan Arenado returning to Colorado. St. Louis has won seven straight and nine of its last 10 games.
Mikolas should be able to outduel Feltner, who won't go more than three or four innings. From there, it'll be the Rockies bullpen and its 4.74 ERA - a full run higher than the Cardinals' (3.55).
This line is confusing and the Cardinals should be much bigger favorites. Take advantage at -165 before the line moves.
Cardinals vs. Rockies O/U Pick
Under 11 (+105)
The trends point to the Under in this one with the total set at a high 11. The last five meetings (and four in Colorado) have all gone Under the total and the Under is 8-3 in Mikolas' road starts. In fact, the Under has hit in eight of Mikolas' last nine starts overall.
The Cardinals' offense should put up more than a handful of runs but the Rockies will only get a few. Take the plus money on the Under 11.
Cardinals vs. Rockies Prop Pick
Mikolas Over 3.5 strikeouts (-155)
Mikolas isn’t a huge strikeout pitcher but this line is really low. He's struck out at least four batters in 17 of 22 starts this season, including six straight and 13 of his last 15.
The Rockies have the eighth-lowest strikeouts per game this season, but Mikolas should be able to get at least four. He's struck out five or more in over half of his starts (12 of 22) and six or more in seven starts.
