🧐 What is the CWS Jello shot challenge?

The College World Series Jello shot challenge is an annual event put on by Rocco's in Omaha. Located across the street from Charles Schwab Field on North 13th Street, the popular restaurant encourages fans to come in and support their teams by purchasing popular alcoholic beverages in varying colors.

The shots are sold for $5 apiece, and each purchase gets tallied up for one of the eight schools competing in the College World Series. As of this year, fans can also purchase shots online to drive up their school's sales on the iconic whiteboard located inside the restaurant.

Rocco's posts regular updates from the event - which starts the day before play begins in Omaha and ends shortly after the tournament's completion - on social media for fans to keep up with remotely. Proceeds from the event are donated to local food banks following the challenge's conclusion.

Anybody aged 21 or older can take part in the challenge after the restaurant opened sales online for this year's event. However, each sale is counted for one of the eight teams in Omaha. The 2025 College World Series field includes:
