The Dodgers are just 2-2 in Tyler Glasnow’s last four starts but they were 6-2 in his previous eight. In the two losses when he toed the rubber, Glasnow allowed five runs in those 12 innings (3.75 ERA) while averaging one strikeout per inning.
Conversely, Cardinals starter Andre Pallante does not inspire much confidence on the mound, as St. Louis lost each of his last five starts. Considering St. Louis covered the run line just once in that span, the better value is to lay the 1.5 runs with the Dodgers, especially since St. Louis is 0-12 in Pallante’s 12 starts against teams currently with a winning record.

Prediction: Andre Pallante Over 2.5 walks allowed ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pallante has had serious control issues of late. He issued two-plus walks in four consecutive starts and in six of his last eight. That is an issue when facing a patient Dodgers lineup that ranks second in the majors (and first in the NL) with a 9.7% walk rate. Couple that with Pallante’s ERA being 2.14 runs higher at home than on the road, and I expect him to struggle again.
DraftKings’ -105 odds for this O/U are appealing, considering the shop offers much lower -300 odds for Pallante to record two-plus walks under the walks allowed category. That same prop section has Pallante at -110 to allow three or more walks, so we are already securing better value by making this wager in the “Walks Allowed O/U section.”

Prediction: Mookie Betts Over 0.5 RBIs ⭐⭐⭐
Betts has been on fire since returning from a nearly two-month IL stint. He recorded multiple hits in each of the four games he started, including a three-RBI day in his first game back. Betts should have success against Pallante, who allows a .776 OPS to right-handed batters compared to a .571 OPS to lefties.
I am foregoing Betts’ enticing +525 odds to hit a home run, as Pallante has allowed just five homers in 279 at-bats this season.
The implied probability for Betts to record an RBI is as high as 44.44% based on DraftKings’ +125 odds. However, I am getting $1 extra value by placing this wager at bet365, where a $10 bet would return $13.50 in profit compared to $12.50 at DraftKings.
